I'd be down for some anime recs too.

Lately, I've rewatched Shounen Onmyouji and its rekindled my love for that kind of bromance relationship where one is protecting the younger (Guren/Masahiro). Another example of this would be Frau and Teito form 07-Ghost. Does anyone know of any other mangas where this kind of relationship is prominent?

Sougiya Riddle -- Though the tables do turn at some points, it's still largely a "older and more experienced guy in the field looking out for a newcomer" kind of premise.

Demon Diary -- Naive young demon king and his tutor-cum-bodyguard.

Kaizoku to Ningyo -- A pirate and the merman he captures by mistake. Unfortunately on indefinite hiatus.

Makai Ouji - Devils and Realist -- The protagonist has this kind of dynamic with several people, seeing as he's being hunted, but mainly with his butler and his supporting lead.

Kyou Kara Maou! -- The protagonist is transported to a new world, and in that world gains a veritable harem of people who're almost too willing to look out for him. This one also has an anime adaptation.
