Poll question is:
How do you get most of your manga?
Pretty standard as polls go, but I'm kinda interested in how many people rely on manga hosting sites nowadays. Also, how much has IRC declined?...Although nothing can replace #lurk right now!
Results:
IRC - votes: 1207 (17.5%)
Torrents - votes: 386 (5.6%)
The scanlation group's website - votes: 2213 (32%)
Manga hosting sites - votes: 2496 (36.1%)
I buy most of my manga - votes: 480 (6.9%)
Other - votes: 128 (1.9%)
There were 6910 total votes.
The poll ended: March 9th 2008

I used manga hosting sites till I learned how to use the IRC but then my parents told me I couldn't use the IRC because it would ruin the computer. So now I must go back to manga hosting sites till I can get my own computer.

I mostly rely on direct downloads from the scanlation group's website, but I have gotten a lot from IRC... Too bad I had to delete mIRC, though; it was killing my computer. ._.; I would use torrents, too, but I can't find 'em as often as I do direct downloads.

I get my manga mostly from manga hosting sites or the scanlation group's web.

I use torrents preferably, since i usually download big batches of manga,
i hate having to download volume by volume seperately, and even
worse, chapter by chapter.(although i have to many times 😀 )
Btw, i`m ashamed to say but i havent tried IRC yet.

IRC is still the best
It might be old school, but it is the fastest way to get new releases and huge quantities of manga.

I get manga off manga hosting sites. They're easy and free. It's just that I can't figure out IRC and Torrents

Another person who mostly gets it off scanlation sites. But, there is a lot that I buy to have in my hand. Also, trying to learn IRC so I can have access to so much more, though it is taking me quite a while....

manga from youtube 😕 . Maybe you mean anime?
Most of my manga come from manga hosting sites. I use IRC, but I'm a newb at it with a couple of months of irregular use vs. years of getting manga from manga hosting sites.

Definitely most from IRC; torrents are good too but they tend to go dead pretty quickly. I get a few from group websites and hosting sites but pretty much only if I can't find them on #lurk, and I do buy quite a bit of manga as well.
