Occasionally I'd forget which website has which password, so I write down asterisks on a post-it, and note whether or not it has any symbols/numbers in it! And I'll try all of them until one logs in. For example: * * * * * 1 or something like that. I have several alphanumeric passwords.

I used to use the same password for everything, but recently I've gotten smart and use more fosistacated passwords. all of them are random combinations of upper/lower case letters, numbers, and sometimes keyboard symbols (eg: Ji199Q0RfrEj51) so I HAVE to right them down.

I've been using the same password for as long as I can remember (which no one has ever figured out still to this day); and if a number is required I just use my favourite number. Thus I just use my memory.

I send myself emails with the usernames and passwords and no one knows my email password, so it's all good. ;D

I never write them down. Most of the time I use the same username and simple password for things. If it's something that needs a stronger password .... Well I have about 7 different ones and often forget which one I used ....

I should write them down somewhere, but I try to remember them all.

No, I don't write down my passwords.

I'm that idiot who uses the same 2 passwords for everything.

If you managed to crack them, you basically took over my entire life.

I only use 2-3 passwords at the same time which are easy to remember (variations of one). For safety I change them frequently (after a year) or right away after a particular big incidence on internet.

I used to have so many passwords but didn't write them down. Thanks to that, I even forgot my computer user password and have to enter safe mode to change it a few times. Then after I save a memo of them on my ipod, I forgot my ipod password, I had to connect too itunes etc.

Since I realized it's no use since I'm so forgetful, I use 1 for all now. Have no problem so far with this

1Password people!

Well, at least, I never bother to remember passwords now.

Once upon a time I named my passwords on books, words, stuff, and everything and anything I happened to like at the time... but leaving that aside. I used to just keep a single password I use for pretty much everything, then I had to change it again to fit that secret code every pair of siblings will come up with one point in time. But to fit those ever changing password rules, I had to change it to something a bit shorter than what? 13 numbers? Then after that I had to change it AGAIN to fit the "1 uppercase, 1 lower case, 1 number, 8 characters" damned rule... And so my search for password continued until I finally found one that was perfect. 1 uppercase, 1 lowercase, 8 numbers, totalling 10 characters... before I realized, I want a new password. Lol.

That should explain most things. Oh btw, those "retired" passwords, they get passed down. XD My bro still uses my first pass for many of his things. Like his rental store acc pin, library acc pin, etc.. His newer one was came up by me as well, though it seems like he doesn't remember...

Oh but, disposable ones are no secret. I use the same pass, same username still. Like, no0000 for number 0000 up to no0100? XD Well, that's another thing. Besides, it's disposable.

I don't write them down. I try to use unique ones, and I often end up forgetting what password I came up with, and having to reset it 😢

I used to remember each and every password but then with too many sites requiring sign-up, I decided to write them down in a tiny unused planner. (Format: site , email/username, pw) But then again, nothing's too special about the passwords I use. I have goldfish memory for sites on anime and manga. (It's tiring to click the "forget your password?" button (。-_-。) ) Now, the only passwords I won't forget are those I use in an academic setting.

I memorize them, mainly because it would be a huge nuisance if I lost the list somewhere.
