Hi everyone, I'm looking for food mangas because... I love food....
I would like a series that focuses a lot on the food and it's the general theme of the series. I don't mind if there is another story as long as it returns to a nice meal.
It could just be about eating food or cooking it.
(Though I would prefer a more mature josei or seinen)
Trust me when I say I probably read most of the things that are already scanlated but I'm hoping someone a few things tucked away for me to read. ;w;
So to name just a few that I've read:
Dungeon Meshi
Amaama to Inazuma
Oishii Kankei
Mister Ajikko
Wakako-Zake
Kitchen princess
Kitchen Palette
Bambino!
Toriko
etc

Little Forest
The Solitary Gourmet - If you can read Japanese or any of the more prevalent Western European languages, Sensei no Kaban by the same artist also focuses on meals.
There are also a number of manga revolving around coffee or tea, if you're in the mood for less than a meal.

Shinya Shokudou -- A food stall and the life stories of the people who frequent it.
Kinou Nani Tabeta? -- This is only 'shounen-ai' in the sense that the protagonists are gay. Apart from that there's no sex or romance: it's all about slice-of-life and food.

Golden Kamui is not a cooking manga, but it with all its food porn and vivid descriptions, it might as well be
Isekai Izakaya "Nobu", introducing Japanese food in fantasy world.
And there's a new series i like called The Magic Chef of Ice and Fire, i'm hoping to see more food introduced in the future chapters.

^ THIS. Though I actually think Golden Kamui is a magnificent cooking manga. I mean, in the recent chapter's character sheets, literally the only things said of the characters were what they like to eat. (Though, of course, Golden Kamui is about a bunch of other stuff too, like, uh, finding hidden gold and the shinsengumi and post-war trauma. But, really, it's all secondary to the cooking.)
On that note of not-quite-cooking manga, Hakumei to Mikochi fits the bill too. It's more of a slice-of-life series, but it's populated by a lot of cooking in between.
Oh, Inferno (Ruru) kind of falls under that category too. It's basically a cooking manga disguised as a mafia story (or something).
There's also Gohan Shiyo! which is more about eating well than cooking. Still good though.
Shinmai Shimai no Futari Gohan looks like just an excuse for cute girls doing cute things, but there are actual recipes attached to each thing they make, which qualifies it as a cooking manga in my book! (It's also really cute.)
And Michelin Star has been in licensing hell for a while, but it was good from what I remember of it.
And some cooking manga that I don't actually like but that you might get something out of...
Hell's Kitchen
Shokugeki no Souma
