What do you do when rereading a Manga?
I re-read Hana Yori Dango at least eight times all the way through. 😀

I reread the whole thing. See, I have this really bad memory where I know what happens generally, but I forget ALL the details; like... what the characters say, or how they deal with whatever. So, I can reread it easily enough.

i look at the pictures and just noticed the detail in the artwork.
its like the first time i read manga, it's mainly to follow the storyline.
but its good that when ur done you just go back and flip through it page by page but this time don't read it, just look through the pictures. time will fly by as you get to enjoy the art work
why because i am the president of the student council of course

I really get into several of my favorite scenes throughout the manga and pay close attention to the detail in the art.

i reread only when i can't remember things. usually a couple of years later, and i tend to skip the parts where i get bored.
Doing nothing is very hard to do. You never know when you're done.

thats what I usually do. Unless the manga is good enough to read all the way through again, but that dosent happen very often with me.
I love re-reading my favourite mangas.
Especially ones like Death Note that had lots of dialogue. When I re-read it, I find things that I missed out from before, either because I was skimming because I wanted to know what happens, or because my mind wasn't focused enough the first time 🤣
Usually though, I skim the 'boring' parts, where I know nothing productive is going to happen.
If I wasn't going to re-read them, then there's no point in buying them; I would just continue to get them off the internet.
Thats why I only buy my favourite series that I know I'm going to pick up and start reading again.

I guess I go mostly for the art, and the details I didn't notice on the first reading. Actually, I remember the manga I read, so I have no need to reread, so sometimes I just skim.

Well... i dont re-read mangas unless i stoped reading it midway and forgot most of the plot ( happened with GTO ) and while reading it once i remember part of the plot i skip till i find something i forgot. And i enjoy it more once i have seen the anime version cuz my mind uses the voices and sounds from the anime to give life to the manga, its kind of cool that way. Sadly i dont have much time to read/watch anime so its kind of hard to re-read rewatch.

i might re-read a manga months or years later after i've already mostly forgotten about it and started reading and getting excited over something new.
it usually occurs after reading several bad series that make your brain hurt. you remember the other manga, re-read it, and can breathe again 😀

I don't have a good memory, so I don't remember much when I re-read, but I can read without thinking I had already read it once, it works for me xD. Plus there are always some stuff that can be only noticed when re-reading.
HOLY......HOW CAN YOU DO THAT?!?! TEACH ME!!!!!!!!! 🤢

Am I the only person here who really enjoys rereading manga?
I tend to be selective in what I read and what I like. So when I find something that captures my interest, I love enjoying it over and over; if it still makes me laugh or cry after reading it a dozen times...
Seriously.
I can't count the amount of times I've read Angel Sanctuary or the current volumes of Yamanade. I'm the same way with novels I like, also.

Same thing I can barley read manga a second time through. Only to find some parts that I forgot and if I randomly do re read it I mostly read parts that are action packed like I re-read the first volume of Hellsing around ten times when I was in junior high.
