Or a yaoi with a femanine male character, again, preferably one of the lead males.

Something like traps and reverse traps. Both appearance and personality are like the opposite gender, but they don't necessarily crossdress.

I don't mean they can't though. I've just read most of the trap and reverse trap manga I can get simply by searching those tags. Especially trap manga.

Also I don't care for your typical yaoi art style that's got the guys that are extremely tall with big hands and overly masculine features. I prefer my yaoi to have a more shoujo like art style.

Edit: well, this is a list of butch lesbians, so it doesn't mean they talk like the opposite gender or think like them... more like they just represent the 'male' character in the relationship, so I guess it fits your request.

It is just a little hard, because if you are looking for a feminine boy who's appearance and personality are like of a female, it sounds a bit like you are looking for (i. e. "maybe it fits better your request...") a transgender character, because most yaoi with feminine boy: mostly they just like to cook and do girly stuff, but doesn't look like a girl (Soba ni Oitene) or they cross-dress (Udagawachou de Mattete yo.). Finding a character that indentifies so much with "feminine" both inside and outside sounds more like transgender (or like in the case of After School Nightmare).

Same goes for masculine female character both inside and outside, they tend to be more about transgenders than butch. For example, Kase-san is a bit boyish in the way she acts, but her appearance is just like any other girl.

Anyway, sorry for the big comment. I know that there are mangas who fit your request, I'm just stating that a transgender story would fit better the type of character (but maybe not the type of relationship/story development you are looking for).
By that, I just want to say that maybe the requests don't fit entirely what you are looking for, but I hope you like them. 😀
