So this was a nice series. Was really into it. Unfortunately what we have is all there's going to be because it ended up getting cancelled. Nina is a bit too tsundere for my tastes, but besides that I liked most of the characters. However the last chapter really is disappointing, things just stop and it doesn't even have a rushed ending.
Sweet.

I was overly critical when I first reviewed this. It has heart. And humour. I think it's missing a certain something, more background art, more variety in scenery, it felt like not much was really happening. A bride's tale came to my mind a few times while reading this, only this is missing some important development. I think the character art is great, and there's a certain depth and realism to the story. I could do without the cliche parts, the older brother's role in creating conflict is incredibly boring to me, seen it a million times before in shoujo. I think it was missing a certain it factor, an oomph, but certainly is a nice little read.

I don't read a lot of yuri, since most yuri I find seem to come across the boring side. But this charming yuri is different. For one, I thought the characters were lovable.
I mean, even though Nina at first seems like a real mean person, you start to take into consideration that she has moved to a very distant land where cultures are different (and a foreigner could easily be lonely.) As well as marrying Shuurei. A complete stranger to her, which you know nothing about, and *spoiler* thinks she is a guy.
And Shuurei (The main character) is even more lovable. You feel for her whenever some bad kind of misunderstanding happens with Nina, you feel happy when she’s happy, and you feel sad when she’s sad.
Yet this story still captivated me on how it could blend lightheartedness along with the drama. It wasn’t a never-ending mass of drama, yet it wasn’t an overly done gag comedy story where there is a mean character just to have a mean character. I give this a 10 because not only does the story hold it’s interest (went through the first 11 chapters scanned in one night) the art is nice. I really admire how Shuurei’s body is drawn, as well as the details on the clothing.
The second reason I like this manga is as the manga progresses, so does the mystery. Like with Shurrei’s brother, and Nina’s father. I would go into detail about why exactly it’s so interesting, but that would spoil it, ehe.
Anyway, highly recommended, even for people who are not big fans of yuri.

Its really good, Nina slowly changes and her behavioru at first is acceptable because she has just sort off give off by her country for an arranged marriage and I understand her refusal for somplete subservience. Shu is a really nice character as well and I like how she pays so much attention to Nina and understands her view of things and slowly changes her and Nina does change and becomes much more comfortbale around Shu.So excellent romance There is also some politics going on with a set antagonist and secrets being revealed left and right. Really good stuff and so far has mangaed to keep me really interested in this manga. One of the best shoujo-ai mangas out there definetly
Two thumbs up!

Arguably my favorite manga that has ever appeared in Comic Yuri Hime S. While Erica Friedman (of the yuri blog Okazu) doesn't like it because of Nina's overpowering tsundere-ness and Shuu's anxiety, I think Nina is perfectly normal for forming emotional barriers at being sent to a (very) foreign country, and I would worry just as much if I were Shuu.
The artwork is very cute, though a little moe for my taste. Shuu's androgyny is portrayed very well, though, and I'm awaiting the moment that Nina finds out that her "husband" is female~
Also, there is some subtle comedy about a guy crossdressing as a woman giving his sister, who is mistaken for a guy, tips on women. I'm not really sure where the gender lines are drawn there. XD
