Gotta go with DBZ for anime. followed by Yu-gi-oh(?)
and after that lost interest entirely. DBZ would just drag on and on, taking an effing season to finish a single fight, and yugi was boring as hell.
years later I watched Bleach after weeks of insisting from a friend of mine. shortly after I devoured anything anime I could find that sounded interesting, claymore, elfen lied, all sorts of stuff.

Now manga, I didn't read till about six months later. after watching Elfen lied, I got real pissed about the ending, so I went on to hunt for the manga. after a few hours of searching I got it.
Incedentely, that was how I stumbeled upon this site.

Anime - Technically Pokemon but Wolf's Rain was the first series after I learnt what anime was. Spirited Away was my first film.

Manga - Fushigi Yuugi was the first I read, lent to me by a friend. Akuma no Ororon was the first I bought myself.

The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

Voltron or Saber raider an the star sheriffs was it, my first anime movie was Princess Mononoke, but I can not remember my first manga, there was some anime that i remember very clearly, but never learned it's name, I remember in it there was some disease that turned people into a green skin zombies and the antagonist's mecha was called Ziodeka, or something like that, I hope someone knows it's name.

My first anime was Inuyasha. My first manga? no idea it might have been naruto...maybe

Hmm I think my first anime was either Sailor Moon or Card captor (I believe it was the former)
But I just recently saw an episode and realized how horrible they were! I must have been a strange child!

Then I was looking for Card captor sakura and stumbled upom tsubasa, which ended up being my first manga ever =)

My first anime was bleach and supose it was also my first manga, as after the episodes ran out i started reading it instead. The funny thing is i used to love it back then, but now i couldn't care less, still read it time to time, but it doesn't hold my entertainment long. Supose i've become harder to please over the years...

First anime was Neon Genesis Evangelion when i was about 15. Did that ever do my head in... but I loved it and still do.

First manga was Elfen Lied, which i enjoyed alot, though i realise now there are a lot of better things out there.
