Fist manga: also One Piece (around 2002/03), used to be a big fan, but now I'm not anymore (I still like the earlier arcs though)

Anime: Mazinger Z. I was a little kid at the time and back in my country of origin. I did not "know" it was an anime until I came to the US many years later. For me it was just another, albeit very cool, cartoon.

Manga: Mars. I was an anime fan already before I even contemplated reading manga. I have been hooked ever since. 😃

anime: Does Robotech count? If not then Street Fighter II the Animated Movie. I also remember watching various obscure arabic dubbed anime when I was young. Heidi and Lassie come to mind.

manga: Gosh, I don't even remember! I couldn't even read japanese back then. When I was a kid my cousin just came home with some shoujo magazine he'd found in a bin 🤣
Now considering it was Dubai in the early 90s this was a very rare find indeed. I used to flip through the pages for hours!

anime : DBZ on cartoon network with shitty subs in my native language....gohan sounded like a 50 yr old...goku sounded like a girl.......but i watched it .........after the freeza arc they kept looping it......i saw it 3 times b4 i got bored 😀

manga : in 2005 got hooked to naruto , bleach etc etc.....

Manga: History's strongest Disciple Kenichi (read it together with my bro) in 2008 but that doesn't really count since I didn't actually understand it cuz my bro read too fast and stuff. The first manga I chose to read was Kamichama Karin
