Saw/read both of these years before I actually learned about anime/manga.
I remember watching doraemon and thinking the songs at the start and end sounded strange and wondered why i couldn't understand them 🤣

yeah yeah just a girl who like reading comic and play japanese otome game and don't like to study because it's annoying. well i really love comic all genre except mecha,yaoi,yuri and hentai no please gosh !

The first anime I ever saw was Totoro. I picked it off the shelves of Blockbuster myself when I was 6 or 7. The first time I watched an anime actually knowing it was anime was when I watched Princess Mononoke at a friends house at 12 or 13 -- that's what really got me started on the hobby and it's still my favorite anime ever.

This first manga I read was Chobits at 18. I look back on it as a favorite, but 3 years and 300+ volumes of manga later I wonder if I would still feel that way if I reread it...

I actually don't really remember which anime I watched first because I watched so much when I was little but a few of my firsts would be Pokemon, Sailor Moon and Dragonball Z.
Don't remember manga either...maybe Tokyo Mew Mew.

Ah what a coicidence ! My first anime was Sailor Moon also, but an anime that made me impressed was Magic Knight Rayearth. About my first manga, i think it was Mahou Sensei Negima, because once my friend brought that in class, and i try take a peek at them...thus im interested at it 😃

For anime that would be RoboTech: The Macross Saga when i was 9 or 10 I had no idea what i was watching till years later when it came out on dvd. But if you wanna go with the first one that i knew was anime then that would be Sailor Moon some time in middle school.

First manga that i read was eather Planets or Azumanga Daioh I cant rember which one my friends forced me to read first 😢 and that was in 11th grade.
