Hi, Im totally new to baks-updates, but I have been coming here for a while since its a great source for manga information. As it is, I am looking for some shoujo, or even shounen mangas with a strong, protective, possessive male lead. Something in the way of 100% Perfect Girl. Or like Wild Ones, Skip Beat, and going blank here...as to the other ones 😕

NO yaoi, yuri, shounen ai, or shoujo ai. I know that some people enjoy reading those genres, but they're not for me.

Also, 2 big requirements: 1. The main girl has to be strong. I'm not talking physically, but more emotionally, mentally mature. Now, Im not saying she has to be cold or rude, but just confident in herself. I hate wimpy female MCs! 2. The guy, I like the strong silent type 😀 , but possessive not in the creepy psycho way 🤣

I know that there have been other posts on this, but I wanted to ask for some suggestions on my own. Thanks 🙂

hmmm, actually read that one Keishichou Tokuhanka 007, or at least started on it. But isn't it stalled or dropped. At least thats what Ive heard?

you should try Abide in the Wind, it fits your description almost perfectly. but its not a manga, its a webtoon and there are not many chapter out in English yet, but it has been getting translated regularly recently.

There are so many! But here are some that fit your description really well. Have you also looked under the "possessive lover/s" tag?

Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou but

the male lead does get a bit psychotic near the climax of the manga due to family issues.

Thanks, I've actually read some on the list. Ooops forgot to add them. I've tried the "possessive lovers" tag, but a lot of them are yaoi, yuri, shounen ai, or shoujo ai.

if you search the right way you can make it so no yaoi/yuri/shounen ai/shoujo ai will show up. here is a link

it wont have any BL/GL stuff and since you want possessive lovers but not a really creepy guy, i put the possessive lovers tag in and took out the yandere tag. also the manga are sorted by rating.
