Description

I LOVE THIS MANGA. I love the characters, I loved the story and I simply adored the bishie goodness! For those who believe this is a fantasy of the mangaka they are probably right. This title is an escapism and chick fantasy its light and fluffy and has all the cotten candy sweetness to every expression. It will have fangirls the world over sighing as they sneak another chapter under the covers with all the youkai hotness. The art isn't increadibly beautiful (although the bishies are) but it good, solid and consistant - I genuinely like it. So if you are looking for a hot blooded, passionate and brooding tengu prince and his adorable but some what oblivious human princess this is just the manga for you!

at first when i read this, i truly enjoyed it, then a year later i realised that this was a sexual fantasy escapism for the mangaka, throughout you get the abusive dominant older males who treat the girl as a sex object and repeatedly deny the girl's wants and needs nor listen to her when she complains.
Alright, so the guys are drop dead gorgeous and they're all paranormal and occasionally the main character gets treated to some princess-like behaviour, but it is not enough, picture if this happened to you, would you like it? no.
This manga is for anyone who wants to escape for a while with a fantasy. |

The story was brainless and ridiculous. Almost everything was a excuse to show some silly smut. Of course there was good ideas but most of them become repetitive and some of them weren't even original but more like a clicheé.
The art was good and well drawing my only critic was the big eyes and others thinks that give the story a barbie look.
For me the chracters where so bad as the story. Stupid, silly you can see my point... The main characters has nothing original and was so much stupid / weak...
I don't think I should recomend this manga to anyone. There is nothing really interesting. Please if you whant to read a good shoujo try Basara.

As you can tell from all of the comments, there are those who will enjoy this story and those who will not.
If you're not a fan of women who are sexually harassed and don't stand up for themselves, then don't read this. Please note that I'm not saying that she doesn't have a backbone - in certain situation she does - but when it comes to the smutty scenes, she goes "Oh no! This can't happen!" but waits to be saved/interrupted. If that's going to annoy you, don't read it.
The male lead has a typical smutty-lead jealous demeanor, and he does regularly try to force his will upon her. If that's going to annoy you, don't read it. (He does get some better about forcing his will on her, but he remains jealous.)
Yes, the story is choppy in places, but it did have enough mystery to keep me reading. The story does go in simple arcs, so it's relatively easy to put down and pick back up again later, if that's your desire.
The art is fairly nice. The characters are all cute (even the parents - there's a story reason for why they're all so young). And I liked the majority of the personalities of the characters and their interactions. They were fairly typical archetypes in most cases, but they were still interesting.
The end... I didn't find it nearly as bad as most people seem to have. I didn't think it was rushed or hard to understand. It was a bit odd that Spoiler (highlight to view) the male lead was supposed to be "all powerful" but he was supposedly beaten up by a rival toward the end. One would have expected him to go completely "evil" and she would have to bring him back from that state, but that's not what happened. Perhaps this is what confused others so much. That's probably the most inconsistent issue with the story. However, I didn't think the ending was that bad. The characters stayed true to who they had been all along, which worked for me.
I debated whether or not I wanted to give it a higher mark, but I do agree with some of the other comments about drawbacks of the story and characterizations. Spoiler (highlight to view) Hiyo's refusal to even attempt to learn to fly or fight off an attacker really began to bother me toward the end. I had hoped some of those things would be resolved better.

I dunno why people think this manga is terrible, i think it's cute and yea yea its got smuttish stuff from the bathroom to random guys groping her, but hey, one of the genres is smut and atleast it isn't so over-excessive in sexual intercourses like Renai-Shijou-Shugi (now theres something that u can bad-mouth).
I really thought that the romance was adorable and look, some girls (most girls) fantasise about being liked by many bishies, what the hell is wrong with that? I think Love Monster relates very much to what most girls desire to get from hwat guys and for the girls out there, dont try to deny that you have never once thought some random guy or someone you know of but never met in person was hwat (just like the random students at the skwl). When they go to China, i liked how Kurou wasn't allowed to be with Osora although obviousli he wanted to be. This just showed the stronger love that they share and how they feel lost without each other.
Look, those complaining it is too smuttish, think about it. They only ever "do it" in the final chapter and it never even shows you how they do it or show some pervy scene: It's Kurou's castle with Ahhhh and Osora out of it, ok?
She does act helpless but can't you expect that from the girl who thought she was the only human in that monster school and even though she's the White Crow, she doesn't know how to use her powers properly and so BACK OFF. You shudn't expect some girl who only just figured out she was a monster and in a weeks or months declare that she will protect the world from the evil, although she does save the world in the end.
It's a cute manga and i think it's something suited to read during the holidays or when you're at home alot.

I usually don't like mangas like this one but I really enjoyed it. I did start to find it a bit repetitive but it kept me entertained enough that I couldn't turn away. It's pretty much pure fluff the entire way through but hey, I like fluff sometimes haha.

| This manga started with a lot of potential, but it ended horribly. Considering that I've already lowered my expectation (a lot) before reading this because of the negative reviews. I'm a smut manga reader so I don't really mind smutty stuff. But this is not the stuff that smut readers will like. It's more like attempted rape from different guys (any guy except the main guy). And... Spoiler (highlight to view) Nothing really happened between the main couple throughout the whole manga (I'm not considering the extra for the last chapter because it sucked... so rushed and not romantic...) The only thing that kept me reading this is the art.

At first I thought it was a really cute series I liked the artwork a lot. But as the story went on I started to like it less and less. I hated it how the main girl (cant even remember her name) was so helpless and it REALLY made me mad how she couldn't even fly! I was really hoping by the end she would summon all her 'White Crow' power and become a really strong girl.
But no.
She freaking sucked. I think all the characters sucked. But most of all I think the ending sucked. I was really really annoyed because it seemed way too rushed, it felt like the author just got fed up with it too and just wanted to end it. I felt like I just wasted my life reading this story but I kept giving it the benefit of the doubt thinking that the end might be worth it but it SO wasn't.
And it was smutty but not the kind of smut that you LIKE to read about. I was hoping for a hot and heavy romance (the best kind) but the girl was just a prude and the guy was just a giant pervert.
I was not amused.
