I read this about 2 years ago, so in a way I have a soft spot for this manga. Recently, I've been going back and forth on this manga, randomly reading it. Although there is sometimes too much drama, it's a fun read if you have time. I might just be bias cause of my "soft spot" but overall, it's a decent manga. Nothing really memorable, but nothing overly bad, (except for the fact that the MC looks like a child, so the whole time, I was thinking,"PEDO!" at the guy) but it has some really good comedy scenes.
I love this story so much. I've already read the entire series at meat three or four times by now. The art is very beautiful, especially with the main characters Hiyo and Kurou. It is typical with the possessive lover and the girl with a special power who can win over anyone's heart with their smile or happiness. I did like to learn that they met before and Hiyo saved Kurou and that's why he's so willing to protect her. Although, he does is a little frightening when he wants to protect her, especially when he wants everyone to die and for the world to only have himself and Hiyo. But of course Hiyo talks some sense into him and all is well in the end. I think my favorite part of this manga is the odd yet romantic relationship between Hiyo and Kurou. It's like no matter what, they're always happy being around each other, even if they get made or annoyed at each other.
Some1 with delicate sensibilities might get offended or not like it Period. Also the female lead is the submissive type. But the story line is actually pretty good....I read it when I was 17 so dont know if I'd find it as good now, but I still remember liking this manga...so give it a try and see.
I rarely drop a manga, no matter how bad it is, because I don't think I can properly judge it unless I've read it to the very end. I stuck with this one for all 80-ish chapters and the opinion I formed after the first 5 chapters remained the same until the bitter end: this is a terrible story.
The female lead is a full blown idiot and while I can see how a ditzy lead character can be endearing or amusing, Hiyo's antics got old very quickly. Along similar lines, she has all of these men (boys) that are all head over heels for her, yet they are essentially attempting to rape her constantly -- but she holds no ill will towards them for it. It's horrible. Also, whenever the plot built up and came to a climax, each resolution was either unoriginal or just flat out stupid, and they would move onto the next ridiculous arc and repeat the same process over again.
The art was typical shoujo-esque and cute, and I had few problems with it until I began having trouble differentiating the male characters as more of them were introduced.

The moment I started reading the Chiya arc I just let out one long, drawn out sigh. Here comes this girl, completely out of nowhere, who decides that she is in love with her brother who she hasn't actually met before. She goes through a few chapters of drama and playing tricks on Hiyo, then after some more drama she decides that, even though she loves him, she won't be able to change his mind. Then just gives up.
The only redeeming qualities of this manga are that 1) the art is pretty decent and 2) Osora (the main female) didn't immediately swoon when the man male said she was his fiance. In fact, she seemed pretty upset about it and constantly tried to ditch him. Unfortunately, since this is a bad shoujo manga, she did eventually fall for him.
It wasn't horrible until about the third time Osora was almost raped. I don't understand why the men at this school are so sex-starved and why they all concentrate on her. Osora is also dumb as fucking bricks, and not in an endearing way. The romance was hideously boring with a typical mostly impassive, stoic love interest, and the "monster" forms of the students are unimaginative.
What really prompted me to stop reading, though, was when Osora went full Mary Sue mode with her

snow-white crow wings and being some legendary being or something.
I didn´t like the begining that much but it gets better as you continue, the art is very good lots of good looking people. even thought osora isnt that much of a great character its a good manga.
I am in no way a "Taste God" so you don't have to take my word for it, but I found it extremely annoying. The premise was interesting enough so I started reading. The plot is slow on the uptake, the girl seems to shrink from chapter to chapter so that so towards the end it looks like a midget trying to hump dirty uncle harry. The art is ok, for 11 and a half volumes you get told about the big "mystery" then she reads the same book, what? 3 times and then in the last 2 chapters puff it is resolved and rather stupidly. instead of developing the existing characters, new characters are constantly introduced. and one of the things that really made me laugh, though I think it was hardly mangaka's intention, while the main heroin needs 11 volumes to say i love you one of her school friends, says it very casually in 3 chapters. There are many many more things but for that just read the other reviews, that are much more objective and detailed. I am writing this because I have the "I have started, I must finish it" disease and I am annoyed at the manga, at the mangaka and mostly at myself.
I liked this manga a lot, so it's very surprising that there are a lot of negative views on this...
It's pretty funny and I like the art (but others don't??) I think around the middle it does get a biut over-dramatic, and I got a little bored...but I still read it to the end...
So people are just saying that people around her *seem* to rape her? I didn't get that impression...no offense... I don't even remember a lot of smut, after the first 1-2 volumes...
i read up to around 20 chapters i think and i was sick of it. i didn't get why it was so popular tbh so i put it on hold. it was seriously boring and i thought it was kinda pointless too but i picked it up again a few days again, and finished it today. it gets so much better, the storyline progresses much more and the ending is good, it suits it perfectly. there are actually proper and better arcs and the art looks slightly better too. i was planning to give it a 9, but the ending was satisfying. well not satisfying, i can't explain the word. but it was something i was happy with and i thought it really suited it well so i gave it a 10 despite it's boring beginning.
Reading this felt like I was stomaching garbage. Actually, I would have rather have done that than read this.
I think this should get an award for being terrible because it takes skill to make something this godawful.
So we have this chick who supposed to be all plain and stupid and stuff (even though she has perfect hair, a cute face, and huge t*tties), who gets into this high school that she hasn't bothered to do any research on. But you know she's a shoujo protagonist and they're expected to be as dumb as bricks. This could be used to make a somewhat decent story, or at least a mediocre one but alas it's horrible: Unlikable protagonist who's the most unlikable Mary Sue ever. (Even Bella from Twilight pales in her comparison.) Idiotic love interest Gary Stu who attempts to rape the Mary Sue every three minutes. All he can think about is sex sex sex. Because in a relationship where you barely know the chick, it's totally alright to sex her up against her will every chance you get (sarcasm). It's like this mangaka makes him this way to fulfill her own messed up sexual fantasies. Stupid ideas. Making her some legendary, gorgeous white-winged tengu. Having every man she's ever had eye contact with fall in love with her. Wtf?
I can't believe I read this. Or someone put their time and effort into scanning and translating this. I need some aspirin.
