What the title says ^_^. I really have nothing to do, so suggestions are appreciated. And it has to be a Drama, not a movie.

The only manga/anime turned drama I've watched was Yasuko to Kenji which had me laughing and wanting more updates on the manga after I finished the drama.

Something with slapstick comedy and not depressing, mostly 😛 Romance would also be good too!

Well, there are a lot of dramas that are based on mangas or animes:

Gokusen - there are 3 seasons of these and the drama only follows the manga in the first season but the rest are quite hilarious.

Hana Kimi - I think this should be a must, though it does get a bit serious from time to time.

Hana Yori Dango - there's a Japanese version, Korean version, and even Taiwanese version I think. It's Boy's Over Flower in Korean version.

Kami no Shizuku - even though this isn't really a comedy, if you're interested in wine and/or the main actor (Kamenashi Kazuya from KAT-TUN), then you should watch it.

Kimi wa Petto - this one's also a good drama, I think, though I never finished watching it.

Mei-chan no Shitsuji - this one's about a country girl getting a butler...I'm not sure what else to say...

Yamada Taro Monogatari - I think this is the funniest Japanese drama I've seen so far. The drama follows relatively close to the manga though the plot deviates towards the end.

Well I think since you are looking for a manga that was turn into a drama then Itazura na Kiss is a good one. I think it is funny in a way, there was also a anime with it too, but it depends on what kind of drama you are looking for since there was a Taiwanese drama and a Japanese drama too.
