I pretty sure at one point or another you were watching a horror movie, and yelled "Don't do it! Run away! What are you stupid?" Thinking if I heard some strange sound I wouldn't get near it. Now some say they would never check it out, but curiosity gets the better of us, and you investigate what the sound was.
Honestly do you explore the area where the unknown sound came from or not?
Any stories on how you heard something, your approach, and what it really was are welcomed in comments as well.
I picked 'I slowly check it out, and try to make sense of what it was'. Now I only do this because I have kids, I need to know what the sound is, and know if I have to protect them somehow. If I didn't have kids I would probably leave the house and go to a place with a decent amount of people, well lit location. Or if I wasn't alone make my husband or something check it out first. I watch way too many horror movies, and they do not help with my already paranoid self.
Oh only time I "ignore" the sound, is when I'm taking a shower. I'm screwed either way if there was something there. What am I going to do? Grab a bottle of shampoo and hopefully blind him? So I ignore it, and probably start singing with my horrible singing voice. 🤣
Sidenote- I had such a hard time wording this thread. Even the title I sat there thinking what should it be called.I think I used the word check out too much. Where's my rubber band I should be ashamed of myself for using a word so many time. What do I have limited set of vocabulary? .... Pay no mind to the mini rant, heh 🤢
Ok I changed a few of the check outs. This is bother me less now. (Again ignore this sidenote)
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...
So keep in mind I'm filled with typos
