Hola, bonjour, and hello. This is most certainly not the first forum I've ever joined, but as this is one of my favourite sites of all time, I must admit that I'm pretty psyched about it. Overall, I guess I'm not all that exciting - I play piano, read books and manga (duh) and watch anime...and that's about it for me in terms of hobbies. I'm an editor on my school newspaper and a huge nerd, in all honesty...apart from that there's not much to tell. I don't have a boyfriend, nor do I have any interest in getting one.

I like romantic shoujo series - they're what got me started on manga in the first place - but have also moved on to shonen, seinen, and josei stuff. I also tend to indulge in smut sometimes...but mainly stuff like Midnight Secretary and series by Wata Nobu, because I can't stand it if there's not a story alongside the smuttyness. I'm neutral towards yaoi - I don't hate it but it really doesn't interest me. I'm always in search of new series to read, ESPECIALLY complete ones, because I'm on of the most impatient people I know...so feel free to make suggestions! My favourite series of all time is probably Monster, because I love psychological suspense, and it's a fantastic story to start off with.

Anyway, that's about it for me, especially considering that I should be asleep now. Not that I plan to go to bed after this, mind you, oh no...and yes, I have read the rules and intend to follow them. I also don't intend to make any mods angry, so don't worry, I'll be good!

Hmmm...a dragon isn't really my style...I'd prefer to be the person riding it. I mean, those claws probably make it really hard to turn the pages of books or type, right? And that's before we even get to the piano keys problem...plus, I'd really hate having all the villagers live in fear of me. Not that I'd mind some bribery to keep from eating them, mind you...nah, even the bribery wouldn't be worth the hateful looks I'd have to endure. However, if I'm going to go with the mythical creature thing, I'll go for a phoenix...so how about it? Can I rise to the heights of a pheonix? They're cooler anyway, or at least I think so.

Anyway, you made me laugh, at least. The last time I got called a grasshopper was by my fifth grade teacher. He later decided that he preferred "anklebiter," which thus became the official nickname for all those in his class for the next couple of years. Ah, the days of anklebiterhood...and yes, that's clearly a word!!!

you might laugh at this i thought I'd put phoenix first, but then i decided to go on the Asian mythology route instead of the Greek/Egyptian one, being as this is a manga info site.

i remember anklebiterhood as that was too a nickname of all children in my elementary school
