Wow, so man created god as a survival technique. I suppose humans are a lot like lemmings or sheep. They would all run off a cliff and die, so someone made up religion so they would all go running to church instead.....interesting.

I'm afraid I don't know you personally, or know what beliefs or what background you come from so please bear with me. But the reason you were created was to be in fellowship with God. You were designed just like every human being to be in a relationship with him, that is to be loved by God. You were made in his image, like a canvas(painting) so that God can express his love and glory to others by way of you. You were designed to be loved and to love. But you are also different from the billions of people that exist now, and the billions of people that have passed on, you were designed in a specific way to glorify God. The question is finding out what specifically you must do. This is the reason you are alive, but I'm afraid I don't know why it is that God would use people to do that.

isnt it? in a few millions years i can see some bunnies or some other wild animal develope, and start offering berries to wooden dolls...

Awesome, I hope the bunnies will give berries to a little wooden Kokeshi doll. Those are really cute. Then it would be little cute fuzzy guys giving cute little berries to cute little dollies!!! That is sooooo cute I could just puke a rainbow right now!

I wonder if they would have to nail a little bunny to a little cross then wait a few hundred years to develop their religion. Could you imagine bunny crusades and bunny suicide bombers? OMG I hope bunnies never develop a religion.

i can very well imagine all that. but we wont be there to see it. i saw a tv show once, that pitured the future of earth as the science see it, and we dont have enough survival skills to stay alive.

This post is split, unfortunately, on faith/logic lines.
Us on the logic side (i.e. the sane ones), need proof for things.
You psychos on the faith side will believe any old shit!

A few hundred years ago, it would have been: Why do people die? Where do we come from? What's the Sun? etc etc To which the answer was always "God".

Now, we know more, and the answer is NEVER, "god".

I've held off pitching into this post for a while, but hold me back now, boys!

Mind you, if you live in the US, it's like in the Constitution, or something, that it's One Nation Under God, in which case, oh, heaps of stuff!

Yucky Squids! With their squidy appendages and inky gooeyness. And as far as vegetarianism, if god (lol) didn't want us to eat animals, y are they made out of meat? hmmmmm... meat....delicious murder.

then how do you feel about veggie meat-like products, that r made from tofu and soya? they taste exactly the same, and there r alot more plants then animals on earth.

I eat a lot of Tofu too! I think it is delicious. One of my favorite meals is to cube some semi-firm tofu and steam it with Broccoli and Cauliflower. There is a vegetarian Chinese food place near my house that cooks tofu to look like oysters and chicken and beef and it tasted delicious. But I also like to eat real chickens and steaks too. I wouldn't eat a dolphin or Condor or any endangered species. I try to only eat animals that are raised humanely and for the purpose of being eaten. Yummy meat with Tofu together!

I believe in God, Why? well, In my opinion you can see a "Creator" just by looking at the trees, the clouds, nature in its self.

Of course, then science comes along, and tries to disprove everything it can.

yeah, but even a cows will vanish from earth when theyr attacked by trillions of trillions of hungry humans with their killing machines and techniques, and theyr neverending appetite... im a vegeterian bcuz ever since i was little, when i looked at the stake on my plate i did not see food. i saw a little lamb getting his head cut off by some big guy and his knife. there r trillions of those little lambs...

Then why do you not see a helpless plant, filled with life and living in a peacefull garden, just to be "picked" and chopped up then served to you?

I'm not against vegens, I'm simply saying that certain animals, such as cows and chickens were meant to feed other living things.
