No. My reasoning is rather simple: I've seen no evidence to the contrary.

I'm an atheist, so I don't believe in god, there just isn't IMO enough proof to back it up. It's true that nobody can for sure disprove god, but we can't disprove alot of things, that doesn't mean they are true. If I said there were mutant chibis under pluto's surface, not many people would believe me, even though they can't prove me wrong, likewise, I can't prove god doesn't exist, but that doesn't mean he does. Since extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, I want to see proof god exists before believing in him.I don't want to take any leap of faith.

My Family has been Roman Catholic on BOTH sides for about 4 generations..
(Note: That is a God Believing religion.)

However, being skeptical as I am, I doubt God's Existence. I have no proof, not even a sign. So until I get one, I am going to stay a 'maybe'.

I've always Felt like I was a Boy in my past life, and I lived during the Renaissance Era.. I was a foot soldier when there was a war, and a farmer the rest of the time.. I could read, but I didn't know how to write.

Don't ask me why. -Shrugs- I just feel like that...

However, God is still a maybe. Maybe both are right, and once you get bored of Heaven(if that is possible), then you ask God and he sends you back to earth. XD

i've.. i guess, seen and heard all the proof i need to believe in God. but that's my own personal experience.. and i don't expect to convince anyone of anything..

but anything is worth a try?

I was raised Christian, but now I don't believe at all. Certain things have changed my way of thinking.

Too much contradiction, too much vague-ness(that can't be a word...), too many ridiculous statements, too many off-putting fanatics, etc.

I've a plethora of reasons for which I refuse to believe in "God". As any modern religion would describe this figure, anyways. I just find their descriptions to be... impossible.

Further, I don't believe in any other sort of higher power or deity figure either. My refusal is less extreme, but I still refuse to believe. Though for the record, I'd like to state that if any sentient higher power DID exist, I would not worship it, but rather hate, defy, and ultimately try to do away with it. I don't like the idea of someone controlling my world like a toy. Plus, can any of you honestly look at our world, and the things that happen, and tell me that any "God" could possibly be benevolent, and worthy of reverence?

I'm not so quick to complete dismiss any form of supernatural... let's say, existence, because some supernatural-esque stuff could merely be supernatural from our limited perspective. On some matters, I'll reserve absolute judgment until humanity maxes out their science points.

Still, though, I don't actually believe in anything of the sort. I just don't outright refute it, as I've no base on which to do so.

I'm a self acknowledged ignorant. There is not absolute prove that demonstrates the existence or nonexistence of god/gods.

Now, since it is possible to prove the existence of something, and it is impossible to prove the nonexistence, I should say that I usually go for the nonexistence part, but in the end I really have no idea.

But if there was a god or gods, I don't think we would have any kind of contact with him/her/them. Because in the end, we are too lowly creatures in comparison with a godly being. god probably wouldn't care about our existence.

And I actually find all religions very arrogant. Saying that they have/had personal contact with all powerful godly beings, and some of them claim to even talk one on one with them....yeah, right!!!

I, a lowly human, an insignificant part of the universe, am a personal buddy with god. When I have some trouble, I just pray, and god changes his all knowingly perfect universal design just to help me out....isn't that like the most arrogant possible assumption?

I've been christian for as long as I can remember and it's by choice, despite some attempts by certain individuals to convince me I've been brain washed.

Technically I'm an Orthodox Christian. But I don't really believe the whole New and Old Testament because I always wondered if Jesus wanted to baptise the whole world, why didn't any mention of him appear in America or Asia or stuff like that? And why did it appear only 2000 years ago and before there aren't really a lot of mentions about it? And what about all the people that EVER died and never knew Christianity and if all the Heaven and Hell story is true, they should go to the first layer of Hell only because they weren't baptised?

I believe in the existence of a higher being. Because the idea of us just spawning off in the middle of nowhere is ridiculous. I believe in the great flood because it's something more or less every nation in history has a legend about it. And it's no wonder a survivor might've thought they'd be the only ones alive. (See Noah.) Also I believe in the morals the Church preaches. The base idea is good, but it's been turned up and twisted so much by fanatics they are completely useless the way they're shoved down people's throats nowadays.
But I don't really believe in all the stories of the testaments.We have NO proof of them. And it's not like I should burn in hell for not believing a story from the past that actually disbined(?) more than it unified. And I'm not referring just to the great Schism in 1054. I'm saying that most of the religions have more or less the same basic outline, it's just their legends and customs are different.
And for this reason we had the Crusades, Jihad, and lots of other stuff I can't remember.
I guess they were more like metaphoric examples of what faith can do than actual occurences. Some people take it far too literally.

I'm stopping here because if I get to the subject of people trying to shove Christianity and just about any religion down my throat (or change my beliefs to the "right path") I'd never finish. Sorry for some retarded stuff up there, I'm so tired I can't even hit the enter button properly 🙂

When I was small I only went to church with my grandma, but now I don't, since I stopped believing a long time ago.

I think "I believe in the existence of God" isn´t equal to "I believe in Religion". There are so different branches of christianism each one with different focus and with their own ways and practices which makes me to be a little bit skeptical about Religion. I learned about religion by going to an Adventist Elementar School, but i didn´t abide that religion, neither Catholicism, still i believe in God.
Deprive man of faith (in God, or Science, or in themselves) and what is left is a harsh thing to digest.
