I have a suggestion for the releases section.
As the title suggests, I have a very simple suggestion for the Releases section. To put it most simply It would be an "Ignore Filter" button. This could be done one of two ways:
One: A Bypass in the User Genre Filter panel, Essentially what this would do is If a series has the genre you have by bypassed, let's use Comedy for this example, then any series that has the Comedy genre will show up regardless if any of the other genres are Filtered. So under standing this, if for Example you have the Shoujo genre filtered but have the Comedy tag bypassed then;
Hiyokoi {Comedy Drama Romance School Life Shoujo Slice of Life}
would show on the Releases, however
"Suki" to Ienai {Romance Shoujo}
would not show up because Shoujo is blocked and it does not have the Comedy genre.
-or-
Two: A page by page Bypass, let's continue to use Hiyokoi as an example. Say you love the series, like I do, but you don't like the Shoujo genre and have it filtered. Put a Bypass button in the top right corner of all info pages and that bypass button would again ignore the Genre filtering and just show releases for that series.
-EDIT- I just figured out that if you add the series to a list that it will show up reguardles if it has a blocked Genre.
Now you don't have to add these, I jut though that they might be good ideas and worth mentioning.
Thanks for your time,
~life

... but you can already filter out genres ...
User CP -> Release Filtering -> select genres you don't want to show up in releases or have them in certain colors to pop out.

Unless your idea is different in some way.
Yes yes, I know I make longwinded comments, but that's just me >.<
I should proof read my comments more, but I won't...

Completely. :B
This is in response to your second suggestion:
So, if I am reading this correctly, lifeandeath2012, you want a way to essentially not completely filter out a genre? Because some series - that you may be reading but falls under that genre - would be filtered out as well?
An easy way to get bypass that is to add those series to a reading list. They would show up in the release page regardless of any filtering of the genres. So I guess that sort of is the bypass function you are suggesting~
Unless you mean something else, if so I apologize. :3
Edit: Ohhh, I do like your first suggestion. I have ecchi, harem, and horror filtered and some series are completely filtered out even though I would read a shoujo or seinen harem. So the "bypass" would make it so that anything with shoujo and harem still show up in the release page, yes?

Wait, adding to the reading section will automatically bypass the filtering?
-EDIT- Well that's nice to know lol

That is basically how it would work.
