lol when the sage frog said "im gonna beat(teach) FROG-FU into you" i immediately thought of Kung Fu Panda (lawlz)

Anyway im eager to see which kind of technique Naruto is trying to pull off secretly. If its just another variation of Shuriken-Rasengan, im gonna curse kishimoto some more.

On another note, i wonder why Naruto, who relies TOTALLY in close range fight and possess the largest amount of chakra, havent EVER trained his Taijutsu with Gai, or his ability to put chakra into his fists with the 5th. The heck, he only learned 1 new jutsu and then nothing more, its not that i demand him to master genjutsu or healing ability eh...

That's known as a "coin".

Oh, thanks. Too much D&D.

Ya it would be nice if he learned some serious fighting skills, I'm so tired of shadow clones and rasengan

Nice chapter, u can say it's the calm b4 the storm and the duel between Pain and Naruto is something i'm really looking forward to 😎 . It is just me or the name 'sage mode' is just plain lame. It might sound better if they just left it untranslated(even if i don't know how it sound untranslated) 😛

you mean the move that had him known as the "Yellow Flash"? i don't think Naruto has any idea about that move.

Well jiraya talked about minato wanting to pass "the key" or something like this to Naruto.
and this was probably his most famous move

I believe it, sasuke still has the advantage by a long shot so teleportation makes sense. its like that whole dragonball z flying thing.

Yes, but the frogs have the""key" right now and I'm pretty sure him getting it from them will be a chapter all to itself, if not more. I think this is probably something Naruto developed on his own but was far too dangerous to use pre-sage-mode thus Jiraya forbid him from trying. It could also perhaps be something that he had to draw on a lot of the Kyuubi's chakara to complete thus putting him in danger of going berserk. I for one hope it is something he created all on his own, if you notice almost none of the current generation has a technique that is all their own. All of them are inherited or bloodline abilities or derivatives there of. I would love to see one of them to come out with anything that they can claim exclusively.

that takes a lot of work though on their part. the older generation had to take a lot of time to complete some of the moves they currently have. i think it's likely that the current generation are too young to come up with something like that.
i guess it's possible Jiraya might have taught Naruto something like that, only for him to learn how to fortify it for himself later on. but then that brings to mind did Minato need Sage arts to do his jutsus to?

I don't think they are too young now. I believe that the flash back with Kakashi and Oobito was when they were about the same age as the current generation, and Minato had the flash step perfected by then. Kakashi had Chidori down as well if I'm not mistaken. I really do think it's time for them to take it to the next level and develop their own attacks.

Naruto really needs new attacks
because all he knows is kage rasen and the upgraded version it became quite boring because of it.
while sasuke has 1000 new techniques from the sharingen and orochimaru teaching him
i sure hope this new technique is super duper awesome~~~

and also with the sage training naruto now is as physically strong like tsunade and sakura?
lifting huge rocks and stuff =]

didn't Kakashi say it took him a very long time to create Chidori? i dunno i still think they're to young to make something new yet since not all of them have mastered the skills they're learning now. i guess it's just me who's thinking that if they aren't masters yet of their own moves and still have a lot to learn from their teachers, then they shouldn't be making new moves of their own accord as of yet.

That doesn't really mean anything.

Kakashi didn't surpass Yondaime.
Or maybe he did? (In strength, that is.)

Since Yondaime's forte was in
skill, intelligence, speed and jutsu array.
Not necessarily "uber-strong" techniques.

That being said, I don't think they'll create a
jutsu of their own, the manga's nearing its end after all.

As things look now.

Edit: Also he never said anything about the period of time that took him to learn Chidori.

alright then how about if i put it in a better way. i don't think they can learn something new if they don't even master their own techniques. in Naruto's case he may know how to use his skills but he doesn't have total mastery over it.
