Well, at least we get see Naruto's power up.

Finally Pain arrives, I almost tought he was lost somewhere 🤣 . Well, Naruto's power up might be the shuriken rasengan, now that he has the sage power his body should be able to take it. I was hoping something else though. It was nice to see only his eyes changed.

And I'm glad that Naruto finally had the main focus of the chapter. No Sasuke or Team Hawk this time made me actually feel satisfied with this chapter. Maybe there might be no Sasuke and Team Hawk for two chapters

Looks like Kishimoto is using his "have Naruto/Sasuke complete training at the last possible moment" method again. I wonder if Naruto will get an improvement in his jutsu arsenal (some Katon justus maybe?) instead of just spamming Rasengans and Kage Bunshins like he always does. I wonder who'll hold off Pein until Naruto or someone comes along, considering Tsunade was summoned to that Kage meeting.

On a side note: was the guy with Ibiki Ino's dad?

actually i think it might have been her dad. since i think only her clan are the only ones who invade peoples minds like that. so it's likely it was him. but other than that i'm kind of curious too on who will hold of Pain. i doubt it's going to be someone who will die off easily though.

It was certainly nice to have a chapter that didn't focus on sasuke, I'm hopeing Naruto will have some new skills cause his previous battle style is getting old.

I'm wondering what it is that Naruto doesn't want to let anyone else know (yet).

I'm hoping it'd be something in the line of controlling the demon fox's chakra to a further extent. After all a few chapters ago we've already seen a shinobi that managed to do that pretty nicely.

But I'm afraid it's probably the shuriken rasengan >_> Well it's still a good thing if he can use it freely but it'd still only be a minor improvement to his 'ninjutsu arsenal'.

In any case I doubt it's a whole new sort of technique like a katon jutsu or the likes.
It seems that this new 'thing' Naruto's been practising secretly is something he needs the sage chakra for. I don't really think gaining more chakra would be a requirement for something along the lines of genjutsu or katon jutsu or whatever... it's gotta be something he wasn't able to do (completely/perfectly) before...

Maybe it was the thing Jiriya told him not to use, a while back...

So, what are the chances that after the training, Naruto's level has surpassed Sasuke's? My conclusion is grim...

Hmm...nil. I think that Naruto is always going to be "behind" Sasuke in terms of power, but when they fight he suddenly gets super mega kyuubi sage frog powers and sasuke gets all powered up chidori sharingan eye technique on each other's asses. 😀

His physical endurance and stamina is increased a lot! Maybe he can go and use the kyuubi form without getting taken by kyuubi and without getting physical damage.
