I am a big shounen fan and (as a girl) i like romance too

Personally, I don't believe Shinji was meant to have a girlfriend. It's just not in his character. However the new 6 movies may (Probably) will change that.

Yea, Asuka isn't that bad. I like her more than Rei, I think.

Age doesn't matter, I just like them better as a couple than any of the other choices.

well, Asuka n Rei's also great but how about Kaworu 😕 (although it is same gender...) I really like Kaworu, and i think he understands Shinji pretty well.
If it had to be female, i would go for Asuka.... even though her personality may seem strong, she is actually quite fragile...
In the end, my preference is Kaworu n Shinji~!! 🤨

She's insecure. And she hides it and defends herself by acting the way she does. Im a guy, and i think she's awesome. She's confident, headstrong and yes, quite arrogant. But you can tell that she's hiding some insecurity, some pain, but she conceals it and keeps fighting. i admire that sort of strength

That would be nice (Shinji x Misato that is), but Misato is stil in love with Kaji...
My favorite couple would be Shinki and Asuka, unlike what Scyfon thinks I like Asuka better and I have no problem with her personality. By the way, if Shinji and Rei got together cherrful would that relation be...

well, if you get the jist of the series, and look into shinjis character a bit more, you will see that asukas better. Shinji isnt meant to be with rei cuz he cant be totally happy cuz of his psyco character and asuka is in a way a psyco too. they have more in common than rei + shinji will ever have. Also, in the manga, shinji says that rei was a part of him that he abandoned years ago. Through my inference, shinji is more unlike and like asuka in the present. Also, shinji understands asuka more than most and knows that she is unsecure like he is>> both have a parent complex (xD) >> her psychotic nature comes from her past >> shinjis insecure/unstable nature comes from his past>> so that means that rei is the part he doesnt want to go back to. Yes, rei can heal his wounds on the surface, but its asuka that can hurt and help him at the same time >> deeply>>EoE ending

in my point of view, rei is just like television >> it can keep you occupied for an hour but nothing more>>he has just a crush, not real love for her or he wouldnt be scared of her... it isnt in his nature to love girls like rei >> its like how guys like girls that are good looking but when they find out they have bad personalities, they back away. Asuka on the other hand is different, she is one that only the ones who arent scared of her approach>> shinji is like asuka so he did try and approach her, but is backed away by her>>but as he keeps trying he learns how fragile and how much love she really wants
