Most epic battle

What is THE most epic battle you've ever seen in a manga? I'd go with either the fight against Freeza in DB or Kenshin's fight against Shishio in Rurouni Kenshin.

I second Kenshin's fight against Shishio in Rurouni Kenshin. Also the battles in X/1999 tend to be pretty epic, especially the last one which never ended since the series is on hiatus (still) much to my disappointment. The final battle in Akuma no Ororon was also pretty epic I think. I have to say the final battle in Angel Sanctuary though as the most epic I've seen, that entire series is epic in fact.
The pen is mightier than the sword...and considerably easier to write with.

Well, this probably doesn't count as a battle but... Urumi vs Miyabi in GTO after that Miyabi tell everyone her secret. My fav gto's moment.
As a real battle, Ares vs Nikolai in Ares v16 and also Ares vs Cygnus in v12 🙂
I don't like very long battle.

Truer words have never been spoken. In fact, Gantz has a lot of epic battles: Katou v. the 1000 Arms, Izumi v. an army of vampires, Kaze v. that giant river alien.
