I like dark manga, Psychological Thrillers, Adventure. Mostly Shounen and Seinen. I only watch anime when I've read the manga (mostly, if its an anime that is on like adult swim or something and I turn on the TV I wont like turn it off just not to ruin spoilers lol)

I watch more action than I read.
I read more smut than I watch.

Quote from IMustBeInsane

I tend to stick to the same sort of genres, but I'll read a so-so manga a lot longer than I'll watch a so-so anime.

Me too 😃

I usually only watch battle anime. Just because it's more "flashy".

Other than that, I stick to manga.

I dont like fanservice/ecchi crap for anime but for manga its completely fine o.o

i usually go after the same genre for both to sometimes see the difference in story such as black cat, hikaru no go, ichigo 100%, love hina ( but could not stand the anime watched like 2 episodes and stopped ), prince of tennis, and etc the list goes on....probably one of the more advid watcher/readers on here

the fanservice in my opinion for anime is overdone its abit too much at times its nice if its simple subtle like peeking in the girls bath

So i guess you can say my habits dont change cause i still watch it and read it just whatever entices me for the moment i mean just the other day i watched code geass again just because i was bored

No difference.

But as someone mentioned previously, I'll tolerate and have been more open-minded when it comes to manga than anime.

I read mostly shoujo such as romance, BL, and smut, but watch mostly shounen action. I think that just reflects what is available, or at least what I've found.

With manga, I tend to pick cutesy shoujo manga with a slow pace to it. Usually, If I see a cover with art styles I like, I know it's going to be good (for me at least).

As for anime, I usually go for shounen anime with lots of action and adventure.

I don't watch very much anime. I rarely watch the anime from the manga I've read and vice-versa.

I'm very picky about my animation and not that picky over how manga is drawn. If I start an anime, I just can't read the manga... it's a curse.

I only do both in the cases of One Piece.

Personally I prefer shounen or slice of life anime and shoujo, horror, suspense, thriller, etc manga. It's very strange how I like slice of life only in anime form and find it unbearably boring in manga form.
