I'm looking for a manga where the characters have very strong personalities that make sense and you can feel them. An Example would be Skip Beat, and another one would be Gokusen, and some examples of what I do NOT want would be BioMeat: Nectar (They don't really have personalities you can feel.. Its more about the violence. =D) and Desire Climax (Psshh. These personalities defiantly do not make sense, not to mention are very confusing and you can't even feel themt..) .

Please don't recommend anything on my lists. If you still don't know what I mean, feel free to ask, and I'll give you more examples so you can kinda feel what I mean..

Here we go:

Cat Street has character personalities that still resonate with me even weeks after i read it. The heroine is realistic and flawed, and all the other characters have their quirks, pasttimes, and opinions. It's about a girl who withdraws from society after being backstabbed by a friend in elementary school, and her painful reentry into society several years later. Really a breath of fresh air.

Bitter Virgin is a bit edgier and deals with how this guy (the protagonist) handles the fragile relationship with his once-abused love interest. the characters are very believable and the main protagonist is human. It has its heartwarming moments and heartbreaking moments, but the manga is amazing.

Dogs Bullets & Carnage is probably my favorite manga because of the amazing character development. It's technically a seinen, but the characters are so alive and complex that i sometimes forget it is. Some characters include a blind priest (so ironic) who has questionable morals, a cigarette addicted and cowardly freelancer who does not handle withdrawal with docility, an ex-experiment with an identity crisis and a nasty case of split personality, a tired ex-assassin who has a terrible sense of direction and a vengeful yet kind swordswoman.

These might not be within some of your preferences but these are the character personalities that stuck with me.

Cantarella: It's classified as 'shounen- ai', but theres so little it won't matter. What kept me reading though, was the main protagonist, as we eventually see his slow spiral down into madness due to his demons.

Please save my Earth: another one where the main characters personalities stuck with me (although I think it was probably the eight year old boy as he deals different sides of his personality).

Saver about a girl transported to another world, but not before she deals with a series of tragic events beforehand. Shes a strong, but very withdrawn individual.

Click: a comedy about a girl who must contend with the fact that she is now a girl when she used to be a boy- literally. I love her because she is tough and just plain spunky! 🤣

Also, if you liked skip beat, you should also try Tokyo Crazy Paradies (I don't think I saw that on your list 🙂 ).

REC: Technically seinen but the girl is the main focus and she doesn't take crap, has a job, and doesn't swoon over every jerk that steps in front of her.

Midnight Secretary: Mainly b/c the heroine is actually smart and doesn't enjoy being abused and she has sense enough to know what and what not to do.

Escaflowne: Haven't read the manga but there's supposed to be 2 versions: The original shonen version, and the revamped shojo.

Trinity Blood: A nun that fires a mean shotgun. Need I say more?

I don't think that curse is really that bad. Maybe if their skin started falling off, or they couldn't change back to humans, or they had violent, perverted alternate personalities. To be honest, they're just whiny.

whaha yeah if you think about it they are a bit overdramatic if you compare it with other things. and when you say that i exaggerated it. but it still is a good manga, well not what you're looking for, but still 😛
and so i will make it up to you, how about MARS. it was a long time ago when i red it, but i think it was a good manga. the girl was raped by her stepfather, and when she told her mother, she didn't believe her.
and Lady Masquerade, her parents were killed by 4 people, she now wants to avenge them.
