So, any thoughs on the world's oldest profession?

I don't have anything against it. I also don't think it 'puts women everywhere to shame', or anything like that...
It's just a job... Even with the risks involved.

I see it as a legitimate job. I mean, it's called the "oldest profession" for a reason, right? It's only illegal in the States because of the stymied old American view of sex. Hell, one of the most famous Biblical characters of all time was a whore. Nodnod

If you have sex in order to get what you need, I don't see what the big deal is. Sex is sex.

The only thing I really have against prostitution is that it can be very dangerous in several different ways.

Second that. I approve of it only and only if its THEIR choice to do so. Obviously I'm not for enslaving people into prostitution: I think the best solution is found in Amsterdam.

I think it's good as it is. If protitution became illegal, it doesn't mean prostitution would stop. When it's under control and legal, it works fine.

Now someone might say that illegal prostituion should be stopped, but there's any kinda business illegal, how you gonna stop it? If you make it all illegal, then there's even more illegal prostitution.

As for the prostitutes themselves, if they want to they can always get away from it. If you're on porn business, you're always gonna stay in the videos/pictures.

I'm fine with prostitution, although I wouldn't visit a prostitute myself.

I would like to see it fully legalised here, instead of having to dodge laws through loop holes.

That depends on circumstances.
Supposedly many prostitutes are dependent on drugs and their pimps make sure there is no way for them to stop making them money. This is a very shady "business".
If it were ever legalized at least the prostitutes would be able to actually have better work ethics (use protection, stay drug free, etc.) and they would not be so dependent on their pimp, who most likely beats and drugs them as a bonus to taking their money.
In any case whether prostitution is moraly right or wrong isn't for any individual to decide. Even though politicians have decided to make it illegal (almost everywhere), that does not serve as a deterrent, so might as well go legal just like with alcohol. Taxes would be paid too, and both government and the workers with their clients will have it easier.
Obviously this does not bode well for the older generation of religion junkies and moral fanatics.

If you can't sell it you don't own it. I think there should be no laws regarding prostitution.

Well that's basically my take on it as well. Situation is always something that should be taken into consideration. It's their choice in the end after all.

seriously, even im not for it doesn't mean im a against. There should be at least regulations not making it illegal, when things are illegal they go underground, and when they underground they go messy. Besides, you can't do whatever you want with a other person if you don't own it.

I'm cool with it, as long as it stays safe for everyone. Like the tutes not being drugged up and beaten at every turn. So that they can actually go to the police for abuse. but one law should be that they can't become a prostitute if they have any stds, cause that'd just cause problems 😛
