How does a (crappy) computer make sound? Because some old, worn-out ones make a distinct noise when they're processing something, like "kkchhhtt krrrggg", you get my drift... What's the cause of it? o,o

Dust gets in the parts making it harder for the computer to cool itself down. Parts will slowly become disfigured due to the excessive heat and cause major/minor complications between parts.

Or your computer might be off balance... causing major/minor complications between parts.

Or your parts just broke or became loose due to some internal or external trauma/fluke... causing major/minor complications between parts.

Or you just have a cheap computer.
🤣

Why do people say that they're not sure whether they've posted in a thread before, when you can check at the bottem of the page where it says "you have replied to this topic X amount of times"? or it says nothing, meaning you haven't posted in the thread before...

O_o...

Well I already knew that, but sometimes I think I've posted in a thread before and then I find out that I haven't. XD And well, there are some threads that are similar so ya...that has some to do with it too.

I think sometimes errors can occur and a post you've made won't show up. There has been time where I've known for a fact I posted and it never showed up.

Why e-mail adresses are sometimes given as name[at]mail[dot]com but not name@mail.com?
And why some sharing links are given with a changed character or missing one?

I think that some sites don't accept emails being typed in, so they get filtered out. And that's why they do that. Or maybe it doesn't accept the @ character? -shrug-

Can someone please explain to me exactly what's the difference between Metal and Hard Rock(Aside from the screaming), their sub-genres and give sample bands.

If someone creates a normal topic can a mod change it into a poll?

I always thought it was the screaming. But then again, I don't really listen much to either topic.
I look at Metal as more "hardcore".

I think so.
