^ no to all.

It's because they didn't want to put much emphasis on it by sculpting a long schlong... The focus should be the rest of the athletic body.

That's the normal size a normal human male should have. Nowadays we got all kind of freaks.....

anyway, I have a question. Anyone who watched the movie Pan's Labyrinth knows how scary and creepy that movie was. It's rated R in the U.S.
My question is rather...why did they make a, what was supposed to be a children's story, into such horrifying movie>?

Great movie btw

^ Cultural differences? I watched that movie in lit 11 and compared it to a translated spanish book from Chile, the themes presented were quite similar. Maybe it's not so disturbing in Spain. Personally, the Glasgow smile kinda tipped the scale but I didn't think it was too creepy; the dark is kind of a good setting for a moving labyrinthe b/c it could be perceived as just a hallucination/imagination of Ophelia.

Can I also ask a question? How hard is it to transfer into a Japanese school? In manga and anime magical transfer students all seem to pop out of thin air after the night the protagonist met them. Is this just a television thing or is the process really quite simple?

I'm pretty sure you have to take a proficiency test first...and pass of course 😛

I just thought the Child Eating Pale Man and the last scene where she was shot to death was not appropriate for children't story.

I guess if little Red Ridding hood is really talking about prostitutes......then this might not be so out of place after all...

The Little Red Riding Hood is about a wolf, deceiving and eating a grandmother, and attempting to eat a child. And depending on which version, the wolf getting axed by the woodsman, or getting its gut opened by the woodsman and the previously eaten grandma replaced with rocks and drowning in the river because of the rocks in its guts.

The difference is in who tells it and how they tell it. Guillermo del Toro told that story in his way. Why? Why?! Don't dwell on that question, it's pretty pointless. I liked it too.

The symbolism behind little red is actually dark. Just like Alice in Wonder land. Always the symbolism and never the front cover of the story. Otherwise, how can we appreciate the author's original intent in their works? But thank god it's rated R. I don't think any kids should be allowed to see all that death, torture, sadism, and cannibalism.

Oh btw, another question, anyone tried this distributed software screen saver from Electric Sheep?

I';m always a bit cautious when a software tells me to have constant internet connection.....it's suspicious I tell ya, suspicious! 😳

The author's intention doesn't matter.
Only what has been written matters.
Nothing else

Well, I think it does. If some of you computer expert out there know something about this program....say it has a reputation of actually being a spyware, I kind of want to know.

I'm not sure if Electric Sheep is secure but the constant internet connection is to download and share more screensavers with sheep servers. Electric Sheep uses the processing power of your computer when idle to produce and render cool looking screensavers and share them on a server (which is why you need the internet connection). There may be some possibility of a sheep server become malignant (probably from human influence) and downloading viruses onto your computer. There might also be a chance that someone has enough time to write a virus transferable on a sheep server that could end up on your computer. But there is a very small chance that that happens.

I'm neither a computer expert or have the program...maybe you should try googling Electric Sheep's vulnerabilities on google, the prewritten internet is a good resource.

damn, I want to actually use that program. 🙁

I did indeed found several websites describing all kinds of vulterbalities within this program.

Which now makes me wonder if our so famous Protein-DNA folding program that most users use on MU also contain such amount of vulnerabilities.

Question:
I want my avatar here to feature transparency, but it keeps adding black background. I tested it in other places and it was fine. I tried png and gif as well. In psd it has only one layer.

You have to make sure that you export the image as a transparent PNG or GIF image format and that you have set the transparency color. If you don't, it will presume that space which isn't filled (and might appear transparent in the PS document file) will be filled with the selected 'matte' color of the image instead of transparent. I suspect your matte is set to black.

How to set each of those things depends on program, and I'm more familiar with FireWorks than PhotoShop, unfortunately. If you're not certain how, it's probably easy to find a tutorial with a quick internet search, though.
