Nope. It might have been mentioned in the different food and breakfast threads, but I doubt it would have extended to a full length discussion.

Of course, my searching could be considered fail, and next thing you know Blak will pop out with a repeat thread. He's magic. XD

So sometimes my laptop would just shut down on it's own (while I'm using it) and then restart, which results in data loss and frustrations. At first I thought my pen/tablet was the culprit, as I would get a driver error, but I got that updated and it hasn't showed any error messages since. Does the screen start to lag before it restarts or
does the screen go black before restarting?

^^^Hmm... I guess it would lag a bit, atleast the cursor would. And since I'm using a pen, I thought it was the tablet. The screen would turn black, it shuts down completely, then restart on it's own.

My laptop would do this if I was connected to internet
with a wireless connection. It's up to my OS, which
is Vista. I never got it to go away completely, but it
did lessen after updating stuff, like bios.

By the way, the same subject,
what kind of relation does wireless network
and video card have? What can somebody assempling
a laptop possibly fuck up or what can a
geek possibly code wrong to get it to go like that?

from getting bigger for some milliseconds.)
I mainly blame Vista for being fucked up
beyond belief.

oh, my favorite! computer problems! I work part time fixing computers. My suggestion to you is to write down the error and google it. I fix so many problems that way. Another thing it could be is hardware problems. What type of tablet do you have? With my toshiba the battery would occasionally fall out or slip and my computer would shut down, if it's plugged in then it still may not be charging check your powercord to see if there is any rips then check the tip to see if it is loose and if it is get a new one! If not take your stylus and try to jiggle the port where you plug in (not too hard) if this is loose you need a new systemboard! If your computer says error though it sound more like a software problem, what anti-malware programs do you have?

You know...it could be just overheating...>_>

I think a video card is what translate binary code into what you see on your screen, so it naturally has alot to do with the internet. They are connected to your systemboard, my guess would be a faulty one, you might have a virus, or it could just be that vista sucks. And woah, not everyone that works with computers is a geek. 🙂
