How would you screw up the pronunciation of Virgina without it sounding like vagina

Do you mean Virginia?
Vin-gia
Virg-nia
Vir-ga-ni
Vir-gi-ni

or my favourite:
virgin daiquiri

Why do I have to keep re-doing port forwarding for uTorrent, when nothing else is changing?

Port forwarding will be working just fine, then I check back an hour (or whatever) later and uTorrent has the yellow triangle instead of the green check mark. Go through the port forwarding procedure, and it's all fine for a while, sometimes weeks, and then it does it again. (~_~) Any ideas??

I have a question: is it true that Otaku's are being hated/disgusted in Japan? And is it also true that it takes 2-3 tree to make one pad of paper?

In terms of tree-->paper, no, read link

However, do consider the amount of energy needed to transport the trees, liquify the trees, set the goo (or however they do it now), cut the finished product, print lines, glue it together, transport to your local office supply store; it does amount to, maybe, a few trees being burnt to produced the finished product from a tree in a field. That being said, I've little comprehension of how much it actually takes to make a sheet of paper, let alone a pad but the energy use to move stuff around to make paper is decently large and may be the equivalent of burning several trees.

I was trying to answer the "vote these categories" poll on the hana kimi page tonight, and I ran across a category called "LGBT Character in a Non - Yaoi/Yuri Manga." Sorry, maybe I'm out of the loop, but what does LGBT mean, please? confused

L - Lesbian
G - Gay
B - Bisexual
T - Transgender

Basically, this is short for people of sexual orientation other then hetero.

@tabicat
I also came across LGBTQ. I guess it's questioning in the end. (yup, that's right)

I was wondering where I can view(or if it is possible to see) the Shounen Jump's weekly rankings that Bakuman talks about? I'm very interested in seeing how Bakuman is holding up in popularity against other mangas

Really? I always thought it was for "queer."

Wikipedia says it's used for both. Queer seems like it would be kind of offensive though. Questioning makes more sense.

Smut is sex. It's really just naked bodies and boobs, but not too hardcore. Ecchi is perverted stuff, like massive boobs and panty shots. Ecchi is fanservice, but the sex in smut (IMO) is usually meaningful. Like, it's not like hentai where sex is shown to please people; in smut, it's just part of the plot.

The sex in smut is just to please people, but it's not as graphic as hentai---it just doesn't show as much.

Is it possible to have a "Sort lists by user rating" feature? I think it would be useful.

At the very bottom of "my lists" you can select rating as a way of sorting your lists.
