Manga with "rough" artwork

Recently, I've been having an inclination to read manga with "rough" art work. I define "rough" artwork not as sloppy per se, but having, for lack of a better word, a "masculine" look, or an almost sketch-like feel to it. To better qualify it, I post some examples:

Also, I'm familiar with the aforementioned mangaka's work, so please nothing by Samura Hiroaki, Nihei Tsutomu, Takahasi Tsutomu, or Hiramoto Akira. Also, I already know of classics like Lone Wolf and Cub, so if only put classics in your list if you have others, because odds are I know of it already.
Sorry about all the qualifications; I hope I haven't seen all there is to see in terms of manga with rough art.

hahaha, me too!!... i've been reading CLAYMORE by yagi norihiro... his work is "rough" looking as well...i really like reading manga with a "rough" edge to it!

Hunter x Hunter, especially the later chapters.
It's sometimes so rough, raw and sketchy that you'll want to puke your eyeballs out. One of the best shounen out there though.
And that's not Noise on the picture, that's Abara. Great stuff too, of course, like all of Nihei.

Have a similar feel, I'm not good with mangakas so ignore them if they are done by those ones.

GTO? i would say that it's messy, slightly rough, but not to the point in which it is a "action-like" rough... but i've to admit, it's a hilarious manga!

well, he asked for something masculine [check out Onizuka's muscles xD] and sketchy type of arts [MESSY] and there you go xD GTO xDDD but it's just a suggestion hahaha
hilarious... well in an offensive way. I prefer the anime more since it's more hilarious xD and it won't kill your eyes because of the messy arts.

hahaha, that's true! the anime is funnier, i agree! and it is kind of lewd, but hey, it's still funny to me!

i find Death Note a pretty hmm.. scary/sketchy/and the demon is pretty rough with their claws and all... does that work well too? xDD

i wouldnt call kurozuka sketchy,there is too many photo-bg's for that. but i was gonna recommend it too.. its good.
maybe try national quiz and bakune young. not really in the line of what you asked for, but there art is kind of different and you might like it.
and if you like those you could try keep on vibrating or tropical citron.
its really hard to recommend to someone who has his lists closed for the public..
