I'm probably optimistic. Since I think it's in my own power to get the outcome I most desire, and I'm easily pleased, I don't fear the possibility of bad things happening to me. And even if something bad does happen to me, I'm usually able to work it to my own pleasure.

Well, the meaning is different. Optimism and pessimism are a way to view the world, while happy is a feeling, and emo is a manner in which emotions are expressed (Through clothes and interests, generally).

I'm pessimistic most of the time, although I have a tendancy to be optimistic in regards to the troubles of others.

Well now that im older, wiser, and finally learned the meaning of optimistic/pessimistic, id say im pessimistic since all i talk about now is how the goverment is filled with assholes

actually, I'm really pessimistic about things. Like in school, when we take tests I immediately think that I failed and all that stuff

i guess im optimistic until when it comes to politics and 'justice' in stuff like that
