I am trying to find a manga that I read around 1-2 years ago but the problem is my memory of that manga content is too hazy. The only thing that I remember is it has a fight between the main character and a strong monster. When I read the manga, it was around 1-2 chapters and the character designs are pretty modern so I expect it was not too old. Now I will list some information that may be related to the manga as I remember reading of something like this but none of it is really in the manga that I'm currently reading right now.

1. Some sort of power related to the blood.
2. Maybe not an isekai, because I don't remember any isekai element in it. It may have it actually, just not too much being exposed as it was still the early stage of the story.
3. Pretty serious.
4. Simple title? This doesn't really add anything but I remember reading something great with a short title compare to a lot of today manga with a long title.
5. A pair of main characters. I think they are male and female. There is this recently released manga called The Undead Lord of the Palace of Darkness. When I look at the cover I thought this was the manga but turn out it was not.

I actually tried to find the manga on this website and others like mangadex by including action or supernatural genre and judging them by the manga cover but was to no avail. I am really grateful if anyone can give any suggestions of manga that gives the vibe of what I just listed.

It is not vampire manga , the setting was in around year 2000 at japan

MC has ability to shoot blood as bullet, trapped in prison for the crime he did'nt commit and put in special prison area where most of them are blood user. Hope it is the one you are looking for.

Thanks for the reply, but that is not the one I'm looking for. I think it is more in a fantasy world setting, cannot really tell the exact setting of the manga when the only thing I remember is the fight with the monster.

The two that come to mind might be either Blood+ or Kyoukai no Kanata (Beyond the Boundary), which I cannot find on here.
Blood+ involves a girls who fights and kills creatures by injecting them with her blood, mostly via a sword.
Kyoukai no Kanata has a girl in it that uses her blood to form a sword, and fight youkai.

I know that in Vampire Knight there is another Vampire with with a blood welding power, but he's fairly minor, so he might not be who you're thinking of. Blood Link too, but that's a BL, so probably not.

Thanks for all the replies. Unfortunately, none of them are the ones I'm looking for. Pretty sure the ones I read before was a manga because I don't remember it being the long strip style that manhwa and manhua have. I tried to search by tag before but somehow missed that blood as a weapon tag. If that's all the manga, then I think the one I read must have nothing to do with blood. 😳
