Interesting chapter. I guess we'll see Pein taken down before Sasuke, since it's up to Akatsuki to take out Naruto with Hawk taking on the 8 tails jinchuuriki. I wonder if we'll actually see the jinchuuriki have an impact in the storyline, like Gaara, instead of being just another statistic. I wonder if Naruto is capable of pulling off the hermit style, since he reacted to it with some respect when Tsunade described the old toad. I also find it amusing how everyone acts so casually to the appearance of a godzilla sized toad sitting outside of the Hokage's office.

well, i was kinda sad when they confirmed jiraiya's death
my predictions for next chapter: naruto will rage and the kyuubi will take over his body and destroy konoha, just kidding here's my real prediction::

It's going to be a very very sad chapter. Naruto will kill pein for this..hmmm, somehow i miss jiraiya's pervertness, now that was a joke! well, he's a really great character in naruto and he died because of his subordinate killed him. that's lonely..

so Madara is Mizukaze, and Sasuke got manipulated by Madara. At least we see more of Naruto too, i hope Jiraiya's death impacts him enough to open his eyes.

Madara didn't trick Sasuke. He told him the truth, which in turn made Sasuke join him.

Besides that, I do remember them saying that their group was called Eagle... Must've been some translation error.

Madara DID trick Sasuke. Truth about Itachi is known to him and Zetsu, may be Pain.

Their group is called Hawk. Check Wikipedia and japanese dictionary for info.

Even if he did tell the truth, he did manipulate Sasuke. Seems it takes a sharingan user to stop a sharingan user, and for Madara Itachi was really considered dangerous. Irony is the Konoha Itachi sacrificed almost everything to protect will be atacked by his precious brother. Sasuke is just a pawn switching hands... that is annoying. And well, it's a setup for Sasuke and Naruto to fight at the end.

i do wanna see Sasuke and Naruto's big fight that decides the series but it just piss me off that Sasuke would just slaps his brother, Itachi, in the face so easily, espceially after everything he did to save him.
