Also its funny living in an age of high speed that we still have lag time... say the news does an interview from someone from Japan... the person who asks the question normally has to wait a few secs before he gets a reply back from the person he asked. Now how can someone from the moon in 1969 talk to someone from earth with no lag time?? Hummm confused ?

the soundtrack for the quote was probably edited, besides i dont think it's economically feasible right now to set up a moonbase. It'd cost so much money. Imagine how much the ISS itself costs?

Considering that its much easier to land something on the moon than it is to land it on the earth (since Earth has more gravity + atmosphere which = trouble landing and taking off) Im pretty much of the idea that if they can make it to outer space landing on the moon really would be a simple task. So I pretty much think its crazy to say it was staged if you believe that modern man can actually travel into space.

Plus there are several countries working to put a person on the moon and Im pretty sure the US is actually looking at heading back there in the next 15 or so years.

Why was the flag moving on the wind when there's no wind on the moon?

Staged. But that was brilliant...in a way... laugh

( you want the other thread reported because sth went wrong with the last poll choice? )

I'll post twice too then bigrazz

no there were stints that held the flag straight out, it wasnt moving

i see no stints in this pic http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image:Buzz_salutes_the_U.S._Flag.jpg

Well I went to the discussion page for that picture, and it was mentioned that the flag was made of nylon and with wires along the back to hold it still, it was also rolled up, so typically when you roll something like a wire, its very difficult to get it to go back to a perfectly straight position, so it really does explain the appearance of it seeming to have been blowing in the wind even though there is no wind on the moon.

Well if they sent one of those little machines to Mars, I think they can manage sending a person to the moon. And they're even planning on going to Mars from the moon, so if that was fake, then we'll be dealing with the real deal when they make a base there xD

lol lots of people do that to clarify:
Lance Armstrong is the biker who had cancer and won the tour de france a bajillion times.

Neil Armstrong flew to the moon along with fellow astronaut Buzz Aldrin and Michael Collins during the Apollo 11 mission in 1969.

Oh conspiracies.
Are you going to start talking about the picture of the sand people on mars too?

Anyway, I will just say this one thing. I have a hard time believing that man landed on the moon in 1969.

Not as outrageous as "the government was responsible for 9/11" theory, but its up there.

Yeah... there are some worse ones but the man not landing on the moon is one of the most well know conspiracy theories out there
