I love conspiracies.

Anything the government tells us should be taken with a grain of salt.

But when thousands of people witnessed a rocket with a few guys getting shot into space... It is safe to assume we landed on the moon.

Of course it's true. If it was fake, Russia would've shouted it to the world because they wanted to be first in the moon too.

Anyway, I think it's stupid that people are even making conspiracy theories about this. Of course we did land on the moon.

Who knows... there will always be conspiracy theories on many things. Most things are not as simple as to call em black or white. There will always be fragments that are truth from both perspectives of a story. As for the real story... well that is resolved with time.
If the landing on the moon was indeed faked, I think the Russians would've found out and made a big deal out of it. They have scientists ans physicists too you know... and I bet if it were that simple to tell (from just the flag) whether or not it was staged it would've been figured out long ago.

BTW this will probably become clear very soon, as China is about to launch a program consisting of space probes taking high-res pictures and mapping out the surface of the Moon. Will they see the flag or any signs that people have been there already? Only time will tell...

What I would really like to see is the video of Neil Armstrong on the moon...

well i watched this video in history on conspiracies and we went through lot of them like the kennedy assassination, UFO's, the masons, man landing on the moon, and a couple more like aliens. and no i dont believe aliens have visited earth yet or the sand man on mars. This conspiracy can be shot down in seconds by anyone with a degree in Astronomy, so ask at your local University.

Answer: The photos taken by the landing team were taken during the Moon's daytime. You can experiment with this if you have an old shutter camera. Set the camera on daytime photography and take a picture of a starry night. The photograph will have no stars. Furthermore, the film showing dust being kicked up by the teams feet also prove that it was filmed in a vaccuum. When dust is kicked up on Earth, it creates a dust cloud (Try it at home, it's fun!). The moon dust didn't cloud, it fell back on the surface.

Question: No one could survive going through the Van Allen belt. The radiation would kill anyone! The Apollo spacecraft didn't have adequate shielding.

Answer: True, the Van Allen belt can provide radiation levels high enough to kill people when exposed to it for a period of time. The astronauts were in the Van Allen belt for a few seconds, not enough time to cause harm.
