A Twist or a good ending like i was reading MX0 it was good then plup end i'm like whtat the F*ck but i usually read manga for the ride not the ending.

I mean, it depends on the story doesn't it??

If it's a happy story like Chii's Sweet Home, it would be lame if it ended with everyone dying.. like the mangaka was just trying to be shocking.

But if it was a tragic story about orphans or something, it ending with the death of them and their hobo friends, that wouldn't be out of character for the story.

Basically I want one that fits the story. There's nothing worse than an ending which seems cheap.

i guess sometimes i want some tragedy,or something like the main character learns a lesson. something like the ending of
Forever Honey
and most of the time i like the endings to be happy.

A good ending is all I ask for.
But if I had to choose I'd want an unexpected ending. A good one.

Those twisted ones are always good as well. I don't like it when the story is too predictable.

I was taking to my sister one time and we both agreed that whenever there was a bad guy pretending to be a good guy to try to sabotage the good guy, we love to see the end where this person is EXPOSED of their actions.

Well, like most people's response, it depends on the story. But I like tragic and the twisted/WTF-like endings the best because it always seems to have a greater impact than all the others.

I voted for "abrupt, inconclusive ending". I like being left with a lot to ponder about. And sudden endings can be very powerful as well.
I like the abruptness of Tatsumi Yoshihiro's short stories, or perhaps the endings to Nijigahara Holograph and Dead End, for example.
