Well actually it's all just a form of a taboo area
as being an area of sex and such.
notice that in countries where breast are not considered "lewd"
but a natural part of the body and to be admired as such it's not that big of a deal

in the late 1800's to the early 1900's it was considered "lewd" if women were to expose their calves in the U.S. @ the beach, and men being what we are, of course were fixated with women's calves back then.

So I consider it all a fixation due to what we cannot/should not see out in the open

but then again I just love to fondle them 😀 they fell great 😁

It's strange how you can sometimes catch your eyes tracking breasts before you really figured out why you turned your head.

If I can add my 2 cents, I think the "'cause it's a taboo" is backward. We are not attracted because it's a taboo but it's a taboo because we are attracted to it. In my humble opinion, there is more than one reason because we are attracted by it. Of course breasts beeing a taboo add to the attraction, as well as remnents of our youth (Oedipian complex), but I think it's primarely because it's an obvious female feature and especially because it's an erogene area.

And yes, I love them round and watching them move 😉.

Actually, large breasts have not always been historically attractive. The attractiveness of female breasts didn't come about until around the seventeenth century. Prior to that, flat breasts or no indication of breasts at all was considered much more attractive. Much Elizabethian dress actually physically flattened the chest.

We just happen to have a mind-set that finds large breasts physically attractive. Now, how and why this came about is probably the result of a variety of factors; people studying different things will give you different reasons. So, that I cannot answer. Which, in turn, does not really answer your question... 🙁 But, there is some food for thought.

I can see precolumbian sculptures, african dolls and what is called "cromagnon's venus" with huge big fat nipples.... so much for big breasts not being attractive... let's say that it depend of the time and the place....

I agree with those that said we are attracted to them because they are taboo. And not the opposite.
Look at some African or Amazonian tribes where women rarely cover their breasts. It is considered a normal sight. I don't know about how the men in these tribes see the breast though. They might still like them when they are in private. But at least they don't seem to look there all the time.

On the large breasts topic... well in Africa, in the past, (and the present in some rural areas)... "healthy" women where regarded as attractive. Because they where least likely to die of starvation maybe?
And any "healthy" women is usually well endowed. So it's natural that their sculptures representing their ideal women would have big breasts. But the big breasts are most likely to be a secondary effect, and not the attractive part.

Besides, just like men have abs or something... Women have boobs, and such... Each gender has it's own attractive features.

I would guess that lesbians, who are women, would find boobs also attractive, right? 😛 But I'm just guessing 😀
