We're so ridiculously evolved and we remain the only known species evolved specifically for culture.

Well compare to other animals, I guess so.
Kind of funny how we got this far with technology..

Evolved? Well, they are, but there are still ways to go. <_<
Blue indigo Mamsmilk? 😀
Just in case somebody reading this wasn't a human.
Using "we" would exclude the reader. : D
Although I think Doc could've shaped the topic title differently.
All beings are equally evolved as they stem from the same
cells. All species just didn't happen to
take the same path and we happened to pick a path that
had a lot of potential in the long run.
There are beings superior to us in many fields
like running, hiding, jumping and a lot of other things.
All have their own speciality – their brand.
The level of evolution is not measured in the complexity
of the mechanism, neither in its muscle tissue or
brain power. There is no such level. Evolution has only
one direction and it is forward. It is like time. (Although
there's more than a handful of different things called
time, but the time that you live and can't get back
is what I speak of and there's still many ways to perceive
that time in different ideologies, but you get the point, nay?)
Even if we turn into something
like cockroaches, it is not "devolution," it is still evolution.
If all the people in the world were to live in mud huts due
to some circumstances, would we go back in time?
No, of course not silly, we'd just revert to our old habits,
another way of living, although not as classy, but
better suited or perhaps the only way to live through
the time.
