Gintoki from GinTama is the coolest character, he's just.. so cool.. <_<
I would say Zack Fair(from Crisis Core: Final Fantasy 7) is also pretty cool, but he's not a manga character..

That's hard to know, because there's always some characters from manga that we haven't read that are cooler or more badass than whoever we choose.
But for me, it'd had to be Miyamoto Musashi from Vagabond. He's a regular human with no powers whatsoever, but he still has a body count as high (If not higher) than any other badass with powers.

Ok i have to say Koinzell from Ubel Blatt. Despite the fact he looks like a fairy sometimes.
Also just as a thought i have to say Jae Hyuk from Immortal Regis (yes i am aware its not a manga.) and thats mostly because of Depore 😀

I was thinking the same thing. Cool does not always equal badass.
The most badass character for me would be someone like Köinzell, Gatts, or even Zero from Vampire Knight (now at least). The only problem is that Gatts needs his berserk armour to be completely badass and Zero needs Bloody Rose.
I have yet to read about a really cool character that I would want to hang out with, though. Does anyone know about a Fonzie out there in the manga world?
