I just got into reading Cheese In the Trap and I would like to find more manhwa/webcomic/manga like it.

Specifically, It can't just be a side character. It needs to be the male lead. I rather it not be be your average run of the mill yandere/bastard boyfriend character either. I want to find more two faced, manipulative love interests. I've already gone through the tag and I haven't found anything worth reading.

Also, preferably if the female lead isn't the childish/naive/innocent sheep/easily led around type. At least some what intelligent to comprehend that something ain't quite right.

I don't really mind any art styles as long as there are no dorito faces and yaoi hands.

yeah i really want a similar one too, unfortunately there isn't a lot of stories as good as cheese in the trap. though you could try Bokura no Kiseki. it does not have even a remotely close story and the romance isnt the main story but the main character is kind of similar, he is very manipulative to get what he wants and the girl isnt one of those typical helpless characters either.

17-sai, Kiss to Dilemma, maybe. The girl is clueless though. (I didn't find her annoying.)

It's a little over the top, but I really like Inu X Boku SS for this. The male lead is very needy, affectionate, and manipulative. The female lead is young, but she's not clueless. I'm always looking for more like it...

Maybe Kaichou-kun no Shimobe or Tokyo Crazy Paradise? Very different takes on "manipulative".

I've read both and while their both enjoyable, they aren't the type of manga I'm looking for. I'm looking for a more serious tone and not quite as light hearted as those two. I'm fine with comedic bits, but not overtly so.

Look in the Manipulative Lover category.

Here are the ones I really like!! I've read TONS of mangas and watch LOTS of animes, and my personal favorite just had to be thriller, dramatic, romance, tragedy with smart leads! All of their ratings are above 9/10 for me.

Shounen
Code Geass
Death Note
Vanitas no Carte (a bit of romance)

Romance/Thriller/Seinen
Raise Wa Tanin Ga Ii
Cheese in The Trap
Olgami (manhwa)
