Well after a week it will calculate what artists you might also like and give you suggestions, and it will give you new ones every week.

Pandora is restricted to listeners located in the U.S. only, us Europeans got shafted because of licensing problems.

Login on last.fm and click this: http://www.last.fm/tools/charts/
Then copy the code from one of the grey boxes on the right, take the bottom one and put it all in your signature here.

My charts are quite interesting. Sometimes, I have Raining Blood followed by Tiny Vessels. My music library is quite expansive.

Quite interesting indeed! You've racked up three times the amount of played songs in two weeks, as I have in over 5 months... 2 weeks, that's 14 days... 23000 songs... 23000 / 14*24 that's about 68.5, so about 68 songs an hour playing 24 hours a day playing every day for 14 days.
My "plugin" is actually a program called Synergy, and it submits a song as played to Last.fm when iTunes plays it un-paused to the halfway-point. If I skip in any way, it won't count. So I wonder what you used and how you used to do that...

Actually, it loaded my plays from when I got my computer, which was in January. So, I have 3 times as many plays as you in the same amount of time.

ah! Interesting still, that it does that for you... I've had no such experience. Like I said I use Synergy which is an application for OS X that adds iTunes playback control buttons to the top-bar, or whatever it was called. But anyway, it has the small side feature that it can submit played songs to last.fm without needing to install an extra application for that.

I use last.fm, but I use it more to make sure that all the information in my itunes for songs and artists are correct. Plus I like to know what bands and songs I listen to most, since last.fm includes my ipod while itunes doesn't. Plus it shows you mostly all the upcoming events in your area.
