It's true. Studies have shown that single fathers go the extra mile to teach their kids to solve their problems, while mothers are more likely to simply solve their child's problem for them. This isn't just saying that fathers are going to tell their kids to beat up the bullies, but are more likely to teach them math, science, sports, and any number of other skills to better deal with daily life.
