Also, I guess you could do it for other countries too if you were interested in their politics like the US or something... or you could even say what you'd do if you were the leader of the entire world...!

I'd constitute a direct democracy where every dicision (except trivial ones) is made via internet polls.
The government will mostly have an executive duty to follow the results of the polls to the letter and decide only on that matters that are too trivial to vote about.
That way nobody can complain about polititians not keeping their promises, because they no longer make important decisions (except maybe in times of emergency).
That also leaves little room for corruption.
The downside of it all would be that those polls would be vulnerable to hacking and viruses.
Also every citizen would have to spend a great deal of time to stay politically updated and participate in every poll.

Still I think it would be worth it, because then power truly lies with the people.

I would force everyone to study till they cough up blood in order to surpass the Japanese in terms of intelligence and rebuild our country so that it will someday become a 1st World country.

atleast not in the westernworld
there will be votes and the rival party,rival political groups will just vote most stuff down
there is no allied front even in partygroups so most of the time nothing changes

What America needs is better education, a fix to crooked politics, a sense of unity, some economic sense, and pride in their country. I'd tackle education first, then our economic state. Hopefully this would increase pride and unity as a nation enough for the people to help elect the right officials to represent them thus doing away with crooked politics.

I would do whats best for my country and resign. There are definitely a lot of people other than me that would know how to run a country and also improve it.

I'd improve funding on academic portions of schools. It's stupid how it's done now. A school in my neighborhood spent 3 million dollars on an AstroTurf football field, but they have to borrow textbooks & desks from other counties; it's ridiculous! Another example is my school, which has like... 10 different sports teams, but doesn't even have AP classes. >>

Although I wouldn't need to be president to fix these things; Governor of California would work just fine.

I think half the things others are suggesting are completely unfeasible as a president btw. Regardless how beatiful some dreams are (like mattai) ... As a dictator maybe... lol

But the other half, surprisingly lot say "listen to what people say" or stuff along that line... But that's what every body does already. They just pick the stuff they agree with out of what people say. And some says also come with extra funding for your party so you can stay being the president. 😛
