You could try Hidaka Shoko, est em and Yamashita Tomoko? Quite famous though, so maybe you already know them also.
Could also try looking at these threads:

Maybe if you say "I want something similar to Y manga and Z manga" it would be better for me, because then I could know what kind of ambience you like (one like Shisei no Otoko or one like Kuimonodokoro Akira).
Also, if you are a little opened to jealousy and demonizing women (it is extremely terrible, but finding a yaoi manga without that is a bit hard...), more titles would appear, maybe? Like Kyuuso wa Cheese no Yume o Miru (but you have probably read that one).

Second Hidaka Shoko . Just got into reading some of her works again. I especially liked Yuuutsu na Asa . Hana wa Saku ka has high ratings, but I find it a little difficult to get into for me. However, these two are definitely out of the ordinary "stereotypical" characters/manga you will find in yaoi, and the second one admittedly much so. 🙂
Edit: Whoops. I think there was a bit of non-con in Yuuutsu na Asa n_n. I still urge you to read it, though.
You can, you should, and if you’re brave enough to start, you will.

I asked about ambience to see if you are okay with dark ambience, like in Endless World (drugs etc, but I don't think there is non-con), Akaneshinchi Hanaya Sange (I haven't read this one yet) and Shisei no Otoko (same thing, but I don't think there is non-con).
What do you think of Tango no Otoko? It is quite a different style, but I guess it fits your request?

if you don't mind super sweet and heartfelt shounen ai fluff, i highly recommend Hayakawa Nojiko's works. super slice-of-lifey and gorgeoussssss art. im obsessed with her stuff right now D8
i just started 10 Dance and it's really great so far, but it's unfinished ;_;
everyone mentioned hidaka shouko, and although you didn't like yna or hwsk (sob) you might be more interested in Hatsukoi no Atosaki. no seme/uke dynamic and lots of ambiguity and angst.
you also might want to look into shoowa's works, although beware since her repertoire ranges from the absurdly zany pwp to stories with much more serious tones and characterizations. maybe Koujitsusei no Tobira or the related Jin to Neko wa Yobu to Konai would be more to your tastes (although the latter does contain one non-con scene).
;D
I recommend Slow Starter (Ichikawa Kei), Seven Days, and Kurayami ni Strobe, if you haven't read them already.
