PC is better suited for fast paced FPS like Quake and CS. But console are good for games like Resident Evil, Kane & Lynch: Dead Men etc...

PCs are generally better for FPSs.
But I've begun playing more FPSs on consoles.

Newer shooters require so much graphics and RAM that my good ol' compy can't handle it that well.

A few months ago there was a Halo 2 tournament in Sydney. They had one of the best players of each platform (PC and 360) to vs each other. Surprisingly, the 360 player defeated the PC player. If I'm not mistaken, he's the Master Chief of Australia >_>

I dunno....maybe console players are better. They have a slightly higher reflex rate IMO, since the analogue sticks are crazy sensitive and to aim with them is quite a challenge for average players. I prefer PC though...>_>

It could be that those console players have got nothing else to do with their platform. 🙂
I mean, if they own a console, they most likely are not photoshopping with it, are they? <_<

Well, I'm not really that tech-savvy with computers.
Though still alot more than most people in my area.

So I choose for console~ Hugs his PS3. 🤣

I kinds stuck in the middle. Mainly just for control. I like how easy it is to talk and switch weapons and all that jazz on a pc, but dual axis controllers really help make shot and running around much easier. I we add in the Wii though, consoles would definitely win.

no way you could aim better with console's controller, its much better to play fighting games for sure, but fps nah.

PC all the way. Analogue sticks make me grow weird things on my thumbs. Damn you Golden Eye! Some of the control schemes are pretty alien to me too. Tried playing Halo 2 on a friend's Xbox and I was barely able to move much less aim. My friends actually took pity on me because I spent five minutes moving like a blind drunk.

More likely the cause is that a Halo 2 tournament would naturally favor the x box player, since Halo 2 has been available on the x box far longer than on the PC. Also, sales of Halo 2 on the PC are greatly reduced since it was an incredibly low tech game by the time of its arrival to the PC and most people who wanted the game already had it on the X box. Basically, the X Box player has been facing the olympic size pool of competitors for years, while the PC player has been playing against the wading pool of competitors for months.

Edit: P.S., I prefer the PC for shooters.

I don't care much for most FPS games but years of Counter-Strike makes playing console FPS games feel imprecise. I played Call of Duty 4 on both the PS3 and 360 (I had a PS3 first then bought a 360 and wanted achievements) and I still didn't feel like it was perfect. I've been playing Team Fortress 2 on PC for a little under a year now and I don't see me being able to check for Spies or rocket jump efficiently with a controller.

Just buy a mouse and keyboard for the console.
Or you could get a SplitFish FragFX Controller http://www.gizmodo.com.au/2007/06/splitfish_fragfx_ps3_controlle.html

Metriod Prime was pretty goo imo, but yeah there needs to be more fpses for Wii.
