I don't play fps. can't stand first person games. when I'm playing a game, I wanna be god and control my character. In first person..it's like...you're experiencing it from what you would see if you were shooting irl. That's not very god-like. I feel trapped...and...stuff. well, I guess those games at the arcades aren't so bad where you hold the little gun and shoot at stuff.
if I had to choose what to play fps games on, it would probably be pc.
Why buying a console for any game anyway? A PC is more useful, not just for gaming and watching movies.

If your PC runs with Windows, it will probably
fail to play 70% of all games, it will have shader
problems and it makes games crash with EAX.

Also, with Windows you'll have to run a shitload of anti-crap software to keep it secure, and half your RAM will be used for bloatware.... and your hard-drive will be paging like a fragmented crack hoe.
Back on topic.... I prefer PC for FPS.... but I only play the Open Source kinds like Tremulous and Warsow.... although Resistance on PS3 is very good.
I feel the Wii has the potential to be the best platform for FPS games.... too bad no one has made one that actually takes advantage of the controller..... hope Miyamoto makes a Mario Paintball game or something soon.

i play console FPS games, because playing most games on a PC means using the keyboard a bit, and i fail at that, since i forget what keys do what.

I don't even think about the keys when I am playing. o___o

Wii has the potential to be great at a lot of games people either don't release them or screw up the controls.

Haven't had much trouble so far. My former PC (a laptop) was too limited, true. But the one I'm currently using can handle pretty much every game I want it to support.

I have just about reached 25 hours on Call of Duty 4 multiplayer (360) and I still can't shake the feeling a mouse and keyboard is better. It is a-okay for single player but multiplayer is a whole different beast.

Been playing FPS on my pc lately, it actually is a bit easier, as long as there isn't much movement to the keyboard.
