It pretty nice buying records, just today I picked up a cd by a band that's stuck with me for ten years. This will be my fifth or sixth copy of that cd actually (yup, super reckless with records, well only cds actually. Vinyls get good treatment). I had to buy it again because there was this sentence I had forgotten and I couldn't for the life of me hear it on the mp3 version I had on my ipod.

Do you know what people did in the old days when they had secrets they didn't want to share?

They'd climb a mountain, find a tree, carve a hole in it, whisper the secret into the hole and cover it up with mud. That way, nobody else would ever learn the secret...

i used to buy albums before...like around year '99 to '00....Eminem Show, Better Dayz...but now i jus look for the songs i like and get them online....i dont download usin limewire or anythin...i jus search online.

I usually buy, if I have the money. I hardly ever borrow CDs off others, a lot of the music I listen to is very niche and obscure (e.g. ambient).
I admit, I have a few Gigs of music on my harddrive, but I buy music as often as I can too...

I make an effort to financially support anything that I care about. Unfortunately, I'm not rich and I cannot touch all bases. Plus a lot of the manga I read isn't available in English. I could always buy the Japanese versions, but I can't read Japanese so it would be pointless.

I get ALL my music from the web. Why would I do otherwise? 🤣

If I download it, and deem it worthy of my purchase, then I'll go out and buy it just to support the artist. If he makes good music, why shouldn't I pay him? Other than that, I rarely buy music without at least sampling it first with a download, unless it's from my favorite artists, then if a new release comes out, I might go and buy it before trying it out online.

@pumpupthevolume: was that Blu&Exile album that good? I have heard good things about it, and listened to a couple songs myself[pretty dope if I may say], but I have the album sitting here on my comp, and I still haven't gave it a full spin 😮 . I might go do it later this week, cause you reminded me of them.

Like Dr.Love I never bought a cd mainly because I am a cheap bastard plus I listen to experimental stuff from the 60 s so it is hard to get.
