Yeah I 'borrow' a whole lot of music as well. But I buy some as well. A lot of music helps me have a wide perspective on things and some actual knowledge about all kinds of music.... If I'd had to pay for all of that, even if it was 1cent/title I'd still be broke :s

Most of my music I get online, though I will spend the cash (if I can spare it) to support the bands/albums I really like since they deserve it.

I downloaded massive amounts of music. Not so much anymore, but that's just cause I lost my Ipod for awhile and my music craze kinda died down.

However, I always have made sure to go out occasionally and buy a cd or two for bands I really support. Most of these bands tend to be less known/popular bands since I figure they need my support far more than megabands like Oasis.

Anyway most bands make the majority of their money on concerts and all the merchandise they sell at said concert, so I always make sure to buy a t-shirt or something from a concert.

I have pirated music in the past, basically downloading whatever I could, but now I refrain from stealing. I do understand why people may pirate, but nowadays, I don't jump on that bandwagon. Same goes for manga or Korean manhwa.

I do check out the first or so chapters of a graphic novel online, and if I like it, I aim to buy the volume locally. The reason why I don't pirate manga/manhwa, however, is because I seriously wish to keep the industry afloat. I've read of the local industry for games dying because of pirating, and I definitely don't want it to happen to manhwa/manga.

I certainly do... It's just that a lot of the stuff I want I can't find at a local music store. I dislike ordering things online most of the time.

If i really like the artist, i buy the albums. if i only want random songs i download. a lot.

I occasionally buy music/films I like and try to buy manga simply because I like to have hard copies of my favorite series, but I have a constant craving for new series/music/information that could never be satisfied by normal channels.

sometimes i cant find the music i want in stores or itunes or whatever, so yes, i "borrow" occasionally. I feel guilty though...

I pirate lots of stuff. Indirectly though I suppose because I get most of my music from my friend. I don't know how he gets it but I'm pretty sure he gets it off the internet.
When it comes to other stuff... yeah I still pirate when I can. I don't have the money to spare usually.

i pirate a lot. not limited to music of course. bittorrent is a gift from god
but i pay for everything as soon as it is available (i usually get the advance torrents) because the quality is so much better

Sometimes if I have the money, I would buy from iTunes and such.
The last CD that I bought though was one of the albums of Linkin Park...on 2006.

Other than that, I download 95% of my music.
