I just read the chapter again (honestly, probably the fifth time...can't help it), and I think that I noticed some things. I wanted to see if anyone else was wondering about them.

First, is it just me or did Ichigo not attack Riruka on the double page? It looks kind of like her outline in the background on the page. Plus, we only see three people hit the ground.

And second, what was with the exchange between Ikkaku and Hitsugaya? I don't remember Ikkaku showing respect towards any of the captains. There is no way that he would leave the 11th division, but it seemed a little weird. It wasn't his usual fear of embarrassment in front of Kenpachi.

Idk about the riruka thing, i guess it might be because she doesn't seem to want to fight, and the confusion of the art when they fell might have just cut out some of them.
And it's been a long time so you cant really expect Ikaku to stay the same. Toshi probably improved like crazy too.

That's exactly what I was thinking. And seeing how his power seemingly controls time, he might be a mixture of Yammy and Barragan.
