Visit, yes.

To live there, no.

If anything I would spend more time in Okinawa.

This.

I'd love to go sight seeing and be a tourist for once, instead of the ones hating on them.

Yes. But ot be honest, if I got a chance to move anywhere favorable, I would take it. It doesn't have to be just Japan.

I used to live/work there (Tokyo)..... once was for 6 months and another 2 stays that were 3 months each.... in addition to a few more business trips.

Food was great, the club scene was awesome, people were nice (mostly)....etc

Many great memories of the place.... but I don't know if I could live there permanently.... speaking Japanese is easy but reading/writing was pretty hard for me..... and the pace of life and prices in Tokyo equate to daylight robbery sometimes.

Maybe I could settle down in a place like Okinawa (used to go there for vacation).... but Tokyo is a bit too happening for me.... maybe I'm getting too old.

I kind of like where I'm living now (Singapore).... it's an advanced city and we get the best of both East and West here..... cost of living could be cheaper, though.

Polite bump.

Not really. Maybe if I knew the language fluently enough to stay there for a long duration. I would love to visit the country once though, along with the US (coastal areas). They're so far away from home too, so maybe that's why I like them, hehe... :]

Right now im working things in a way so once im done my education and in my mid 20's I can go to Japan to live. I want to go there partially for the Manga, Anime and Games but mostly for the culture as a whole. Most specifacly the school system and foods.

Haha, no neither. It may be a unrealistic way of thinking, but I mean the way interactions are made and the whole class structure. A good example would be scenes from the "Crows Zero" movies or "Cromartie High School" movie. Im well aware it differs greatly IRL, but im willing to go and search for that feel.

I actually did live there. I lived on Okinawa, which was nice, but very different from mainland Japan. It's like Hawaii to the rest of the US; though it's still the same country, there's a whole island subculture going on. I'd love to go back and live in Tokyo or Osaka.

I would prefer to see Europe before going there. Also, I would learn the language before going there. However, after all that I would definitely love to try visiting there for a while
